Is Clickbank Still Working for You?

Hi;
I just want to know that the CB products your promoting are still converting or Not? I'm a article marketer and , to me I cant see a sale even after 1000 hops.[what ever the product]. And I hate to open up a new CB account for each and every promotion as most of IMers here said that it works sometimes.
I use direct linking strategy with article marketing, and I do not use auto responder/landing page/ any other, Do these things improve my sales? what are your experiences?
What are your ideas guys?

    Unless you have some super high quality articles, having a landing page (IMO) will work out a lot better than direct linking. In particular, a 1 product review style landing page.

    Clickbank is working for at least 10's of thousands of people.

    CB is not the prob.

    Perhaps it's time that you should re-examine your entire niche/product selection & sales process/funnel and at least use a landing/warmup page.

      I had just the same problem... Actually i was getting some great sales and then, suddenly, everything went down... So i thought that maybe the problem was coming from Clickbank. So I opened another account to finally realize that the problem was coming from the products i was promoting...

      Just to say that most of the time, the problems are coming from the products and not from Clickbank.

      Yes it is. It's been documented here over and over and over. Just because it works OK for some (and even most) people doesn't mean they're not screwing up at all (though I'd love to know where you met these 10s of thousands of people for whom it works perfectly).

      To TC: Ditch clickbank. If enough people do maybe they'll get their act together.

    Promote more of the CB products outside of the IM/Work At Home/Money Making niche and you will see better results.

    And yes, your landing page needs to be yours and not just a direct link to the product and yes, you need to be capturing their contact info to follow up. These are no longer optional IMHO...

    I've gotten a couple of sales the last few days but since my site is new I can't say for sure that CB is crediting sales correctly to me. Sorry can't be of more help.

    After 4 weeks of no sales, I had 3 in the last 24 hours. I do promote kind of off the wall stuff, not necessarily 'desperate buyers'.
    But I am noticing that people want to think about it more, try something on their own, visit and revisit my blog, then finally buy. I have also noticed over the past few months that I have an increase of visits and sales at the end of the month and first of the month, when a lot of people get paid.

    I've tried direct linking and different types of landing page. I always have more success with a landing page, no matter what the CB product.

    The best way to look at a landing page would be that by the time your reader clicks off your page, they are already sold. They want the product NOW and wish to be directed to where they can make their purchase.

    So your article generates interest and a need for more information. Then once your reader has been directed to your landing page, they have the additional information and realise that there is only one option left on how to solve their problem....

      For sure ClickBank is working. I have CB products and affiliates are doing well with them. Also, I have a few of my own affiliate accounts, selling other products as well as my own.

      All accounts go through some "dry spells" once in a while. Keep on doing what works, CB is fine.

      So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

        Most products on ClickBank don't sell the first time a person lands on the sales page. The best strategy I've found is to use a squeeze page and get leads to sign up to a list. Then you can send them the offer more than once, but of course you have to send them good content, too. I use my articles to build a list, for the most part.

    I share the grief :-(

    I selected three products (from superaffiliates) then sent traffic to the link.

    I also didnt created a landing page. Nothing to warm them up. Same results as yours.

    In 3 days I was able to send 1200 hops to the 1st product, 800 hops to the second and 700 plus to the third. Sad to say 0 conversion.

    I think the "Just send them to the link" is no longer productive..

    Anyway I'm not stopping the promotion since it's up and running already. What I'll do is try warm up pages on succeeding products I choose to promote..

    Also if there's anybody here who's got a hot product that converts with the "just send to link" strategy please place it here or PM me...I have an unlimited traffic that I can send your way..

      I am completely new to Clickbank, and have only been doing internet marketing for about a month now. When you say the direct link doesn't work anymore, does this mean I need to set up my own web page first to have any success? Thanks for your help.

        What I wrote earlier is just based on my observations. Although I still get sales by just sending people to the links, recently I've observed, particularly with 3 "hot" (from superaffiliates) products that I promote that "just sending" people to the links is somewhat ineffective.

        again I'll mention, in 3 days I was able to send more than 2000 hits to the link with Zero conversion. I haven't tried placing landing pages yet so I won't be sure if building web sites (particularly "review" sites) will be more effective..

        (Calling all more experienced Warriors, please give us additional feedback regarding this).

      I have never had any success whatsoever with direct linking from PPC ads.

      I have heard that others have more success with review sites, so what I have done is contact people in my niche to see if they'll promote my product instead of one of the ones that they're already promoting. (I offer a more generous commission and better product anyway)

      I've gotten some pretty good feedback so far, but not too many sales. Due mostly to my copy though. (I'm working on it!)
