i have a wordpress blog, and it's NOT self hosted. the hosting is free.
can i get an affliate program and run some ads on my blog, or do i need to have a self hosted blog?
and if i have to get a self hosted blog, how much does it cost?
can it be a blog, or does it have to be a website?

    If you can edit a page you can add any affiliate links and copy text, images as you wish!

    self hosted blogs can be installed on any hosting account. The cost is what you pay for hosing. Blue host offer hosting for around $4.95 a month and you get unlimited everything. Hostgator is also good!

    A blog and a website are the same exact thing if using wordress!

    Its all about the theme and there are thousands of free themes to choose from!

    All you need is a hosting account!

    every hosting account that has cpanel has fantastico or simple scripts, which allows you to install wordpress for free!

    you can install on your root which open on yourdomainname.com or you install on a subdomain like mydomainname.com/site1 and so on!

    one hosting account can host thousands of website, blogs depending on how many databases are allowed. so if you got a hosting account on bluehost with unliminted everything or hostgator you can have many sites!

      I totally agree with Joe Ferdinando, I also use bluehost and have many domains with wordpress installed on them. It's a great way to quickly put a blog/website together. I have used bluehost for around 6years and find there online technical team very handy, for when I've totally messed up code!!
