Some of the Best Questions to Ask a Solo Ad Expert

Hey Everyone!

I'm going to be interviewing a few people who have had a pretty good run on solo ads.

Looking for more questions to ask them.

Thanks in advance for all the help

    Ask:
What are the big mistakes you see people making that ask you for solo ads?
What is you best case study? What is the worst?
When is the best time to ask you for solo ads? When is the worst time?

When it comes to solo ads, people generally have the same questions:

    How to find them
How to know if the vendor is reputable
How to get a higher conversion rate
How to set up a profitable front end funnel
How to encourage opens and clicks in the follow up sequence

Then, you should find ask about things people need to know, but don't necessarily know they need to know...the importance of a specific offer targeting a specific want. How to create a unified message from solo ad to squeeze to front end funnel to the beginning of the follow up sequence.

People also think there is a magic formula in regards to 3 emails of content, 1 sales offer, 4 emails of content, etc.

    Good luck.

The best question to ask is "How did you really build your list?"

Usually they will add this to their sales page.

There are some vendors in the classified ads section who tell you where they are getting their subscribers.

True that - but I think the process of REALLY how they built their list would be very helpful for a newbie...

And I wonder how many solo vendors are leaving some of the tricks of the trade to themselves?

I guess that's what I was trying to hint at there.

Maybe a better question would be like "What's the ONE THING most solo ad vendors keep secret?" or - "What's the BIGGEST SECRET most successful solo vendors have?"

Now that's an interesting question to ask right?

Some will say something and will do something else.

They say that they build it through the search engines but really they are doing this through traffic exchanges. (Which has bad traffic).

The best way to know if their list is any good is to try it out yourself and see if you are getting sales from it. At the end of the day, your main goal is to make money and not just build a list.

Usually if you order 300 unique clicks from a vendor and you get 60-150 opt ins, you should see at least 1 sale on that same day.

I'd consider asking the very simple but powerful:
'Why should I invest X amount of dollars in Solo Ads as opposed to methods a,b, or c of driving traffic?
Because if you're doing interviews, this should get the expert's real opinion on what sets the solo ad method apart.

If asking the seller, great question to ask is what kind of EPCs do you see from your own affiliate marketing efforts from the same list you're selling clicks with.
