Niche within a Niche discussion
Hello everybody,
I was wondering how are you targeting a market that is within a market?
Let's say you are targeting woman who are concerned about their weight. This can be looked at two ways, you can either go to groups that cater specially to women and give your offer, but you can also go to niches where people in general are looking for ways to control their weight and provide your offer there.
The question is, which is best?
I'm about to launch my campaign and my strategy will be different in each market:
In the places specially catered for women I'll make a clear offer outlining the weight issue, in the niche for people concerned about weight issues I'm outlining clearly a solution for women.
Can you think of an improvement to this model?
When you launch a campaign how do you identify your niche within the market?
What strategy has yielded the best results for you?
