Another .org .net question but not what you think

Does this sound redundant?

blankblanknetwork.net

vs

blankblanknetwork.org

.com not available

and yes I realize "blankblank" is redundant I'm talking about network.net vs network.org

Thanks!

From personal preference, given your options... I'd go with the .net

Also, I always tend to do a search on the .com, as many times they are purchased, parked domains, in auction, or in the least you can gain insight to what they are doing with the .com version to determine potentially out-ranking them, or better still, if they have TM items associated to that name.

Best to avoid it all together an brain storm a blankblanknetwork.com, as in 'most cases' you can eliminate all the concerns mentioned prior, but still investigate your keyword to see if it's brandable... I think that's the most important issue in buying your domain..

I've had good success with both .org and .net sites. But beyond that I haven't found the others to work for me. I've seen some people go with .info but personally I've never gotten very far with that suffix. I tend to go .com, .net, .org in terms of personal preferences.

Sorry just re-read your question. I don't think network.net sounds redundant. It may even be easier to remember. Network.org is actually a little more confusing and maybe harder to remember for me.
I do think network.net is more "catchy".

This is what I'm looking for. I know that some people have strong opinions about what performs better, I'm looking at whether the network.net sounds redundant or if network.org sounds confusing.

Thanks for the comments so far!

Why not register blankblank.net and blankblanknetworks.net? Then forward to blankblank.net.

Too funny, I never thought to add the "s" to "network" and now I have my .com domain. Unintentional I'm sure but thank you!
