Hello everyone!
So yeah i have a question related to Fiverr.com.
I registered there a while ago and for months i did not make ANY sales. So i deleted all my gigs after they were around for about 3 months and decided a while ago to get deeper into it.

I offer logo design there and until now i had 2 people who purchased my Gig, both left me a awesome feedback because i really did everything they needed even if it was not included in my actual gig description.

I remember someone saying that the first sale is the hardest on Fiverr and that after that i will get more customers but until now i haven't made any more sales. My current goal is to get at least 3 Orders a day i would really appreciate it if some of you can give me some advices to get to my goal.
Thank you

    Hey Nick!

    Long time no speak

First bit of advice, you're not going to sell anything if the gigs aren't live.. Put them back on, you have nothing to lose!

There's no doubting Fiverr has become very saturated, BUT that does not mean you can't make a decent income from it; it's just going to take some time.

I've only had a little experience with Fiverr, and that was in it's earlier days when making sales was a lot easier.

Have you tried selling on other sites?

    - Joe,

I chose entrepreneurship over further education despite being laughed at by my friends and family..

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)

Hey Joe, it's nice to hear from you again!

Well the Gigs i deleted honestly were really not good quality gigs and i kinda understand why they didn't got me any customers. Thats why i decided to offer my Graphic Design skills there since i know there is a huge demand for it on Fiverr.

Well i hope you are right, i hope i can make a regular income of about $300 a Month so i can invest in some other things.

I really don't know on what other sites i can try to sell the it and how, do you mean sites like elance?

      Thank you for your answer.

  • Your low sales most likely do not reflect the quality of your work, (good or bad) but merely the visibility of your gig. Therefore what you need to focus on is driving traffic to your gigs in order to get some traction.

Too many people rely on the site itself to showcase their gigs, but the reality is that you end up only being found by clients who use the search feature and/or scroll through tons of listings and happen to stumble onto your gig. That's no way to run a business!

Therefore make sure to promote and advertise your gigs as much as you can elsewhere. (paid, free, whatever). This is the only way you can start building a significantly large list of satisfied and repeat clients. Once you do that, it will take on a life on its own.

Also make sure your profile and description etc looks professional and attractive so that when folks do find you, that they will then end up purchasing from you instead of from the other guy.

The main take away here is: advertise and promote!

I was actually thinking of advertising my Gig outside of Fiverr, but lo be honest, i have no idea how to do that and at the moment paid advertising isn't really an option for me at the moment.

If you know some free methods please let me know, thank you!

You could list your service at SEOClerks too and while you're at it, don't forget to check the WTB section, I've seen several people who's looking for a great logo designer.

      Good luck!
      Thank you!
I will definitely check that out and i hope that you are right.

As with anything else you sell online, it is all about marketing.

For example, why don't you have a link to your Fiverr profile -- which in turn will link to all of your offers -- in your signature file here at the forum?

You have to advertise, create an interest in your offer, and link to it.

If you do a good job of creating interest, and you place your advertising and link where people who might want to purchase your offer can find it, then you will see more sales.
