Blog Comment Question

I see people who use: John @ theirwebsite.com

Is that entered in the name field or the website field?

In the name field do I write: John @ <a href=(wesbite) etc?

Depending on the blog commenting software there may be fields for name, email and website. So some people put their email in a name field out of habit. It is also a way to get the name of your website out there without putting a url specific link. You don't have to put the email address in the website field. You can put it in the name field if you'd like.

    Alan,

I would use Alan plus your last name

Branding your site is cool but people buy from folks they know like and trust.

Ryan @ cashwithatrueconscience.com does not sound as trustworthy as Ryan Biddulph, because although Biddulph is a rare last name, it is more common than @ cashwithatrueconscience.com

But whatever route you go leave authentic, handwritten comments to build your online reputation and relationships online....the money is in the rep, and the relationships you authentically build with people.

My friends helped me travel the world for 3 years and many of my relationships were established in the comments field. Such an easy way to grow a prospering venture, commenting is.

    All the best!

NO. May be you are talking about keywordluv enabled blogs where you can enter your keywords after entering your name in the name field. Like -

    Lena from keyword
    or
    Lena @ keyword

It will hyperlink your keyword only in such cases.
