I'm new to the landing pages business and I'm planning to buy a instapage subscription. I already have a couple of clients that want me to create landing pages for them but I don't know how to price this service. can some one give me some ideas?

thanks

Start off by working out what you want to earn each day. Then work out how long a job will take you and start of by pricing it on that. However, price for the worst case scenario

You can have a base pricing for your different packages
like basic landing page for $97
more custom designed landing page for $297
    - those are just prices as example

I always prefer to base the price based on what the client is asking me to do . There are clients who will go for lot of revisions. I make sure to get to know their expectations & talk about the revision condition. If you want to offer unlimited revisions make sure to charge quite to cover all the time & effort required.

It is not just the time it takes to create the page but many other factors like the creativity, revisions, graphics, copywriting and other client expectations
Talk to clients know their expectations and test different price points.

There is a balance to be maintained on how much time and effort is needed by you and what you are charging. Obviously if you charge more you can do better but that depends on what the clients are willing to pay too.

I think I should have word my question better. I guess what I need to know is what do I need to take into account for the pricing (design, setup time etc)

It really depends on your skill level. Not all designers are created equal. You a beginner? Price cheap. You an expert? Price expert prices. Browse around Warriors for Hire and see what others charge.

    Pablo,

It all depends on what you want to earn per customer.

If a job takes you 2-4 hours to complete, I would charge $50-$100.

If a client will want some revisions, I would charge them $200 for 2-3 revisions.

Nobody asked you the most important question of all so I'll ask you....

    What Market are You in?

    Why is this important?

Because the price YOUR MATKET is willing to PAY is what you charge.

I run a landing page service for chiros and bill each doctor $47 a month for EACH page and they don't flinch. Why? Because in that market, each LEAD is worth a lot.

On the other hand, I can't charge that much PER PAGE in, say, "MMO" because that market wouldn't bear it.

Another way that you can use as a guide is to check out your competitors pricing.

You can use this as a guide and offer something better...just my suggestions.

    Good luck
