How Much Does a #1 Ranked Amazon Affiliate Blog Sell for??

I have a doubt regarding selling amazon websites. How much do you think a website with 4000 searches per month that is un-monetized and 3 month old ranking between #1 to #3 for the main keyword sell for??? Blog has 10 pages of quality content. Planning to make it 20.

I have not yet added my affiliate links to it as I was focused more on ranking (SEO).

Can anyone enlighten me I am completely new to selling sites....

I want to know:

1. How much would it sell for if un-monetized? (the product this blog is targeting is in the higher range $500+)

    Why haven't you monetized it?

It's going to sell for a much higher price if you can show proof of income.

It's going to be dependent on how well the product converts and also if the keyword it is ranking for is a buyers keyword.

I would not sell this blog for any amount of money.

I would add as many affiliate programs and have that make me automatic sales even if I take a week off from internet marketing.

Long term, this will benefit you more then selling it for a fee.

Residual profits is what I am looking for and the person who will buy this blog from you is looking for the same thing.

Is the main keyword you are talking about a "Money" keyword??

No one cares as much about "Ranking" as they do about actual "Traffic" More so they care mostly about "Conversions"

So, if you can not show actual traffic and conversions then reselling will be on the low end, maybe up to $100.00

    Sorry you have lost me.

The whole point is getting money in! Get those affiliate links in.

Your resell value will be roughly 10X your average monthly income.

Based on what you are saying the value is zero.

Plus is your traffic buying traffic? If you are getting searches for "free Ipads" then its not likely to be very valuable.

Hi, Guys very happy with your responses.

The keyword is a kitchen appliance related keyword and no product name in it. Most of the listings on google for this keyword, are all ecommerce websites including amazon, homedepot, sears, bestbuy... and others.

No other means of traffic only Google right now.

It's pretty tough to give you an idea of how much you can sell your website for without seeing your website

Oh sorry Stevie, the home page is not completely prepared for converting audience. It only has some tips and general information about the product. So did not add any affiliate links and I have plan to add more content to the homepage so that I can get my affiliate links there.

Moreover I believe lesser content on the homepage with affiliate links on them would not do any good to my sites seo (just did not want to take risk). Right now it only has a 500 word article, want to add more content (seo) and value to users(for conversion). Hope I have answered why it is not monetized yet.

May be a couple more weeks, I will finish all the pending work on this site and sell it. So wanted to know the valuation of the site.

I'd agree make sure that you don't over do the Affiliate Links and keep them diluted, Also make sure that you have Google Analytics installed.
But until you have a few months earnings reports under your belt the site won't reach its selling potential. The difference between selling a site that is ranking high in Google and a site that is ranking high in Google and making money is going to be very different.

It's entirely on your website and how you position yourself? -Also, how you contact a potential buy or you list it? Don't want to give wrong advice...

At the minute, its not an Amazon affiliate blog. Its a blog that ranks for its keyword. Get your amazon affiliate links in there, then you will have a revenue to judge your site on.
