Is it just me or is the WF Extremely ADDICTIVE?

Hi Warriors,

It just occured to me that I'm spending an increasing amount of time on the Warrior Forum lately. Is it just me, or is this forum extremely addictive?

I haven't been around here in almost 2 years, but I've actually been a warrior member since way back in the old uni-sol.com forum days. You veteran warriors will remember that, I'm sure. I liked it then too. Only now it's even better! Especially since Allen updated the forum and added all the new features. Although, I haven't used them all yet it looks like the new forum has lots of powerful new features.

But what is even better than that, is YOU. The Warrior Members! You people are awesome, constantly helping each other out. Bouncing ideas off each other, networking with each other, building products together, etc. This forum is a GOLD MINE! If you spent the time to read everything here (who has that much time?), you would learn more than you ever will buying and reading all the IM eBooks on the market.

The fact that this forum is accessible for FREE is simply amazing. I think Allen should LOCK all the doors and charge an entrance fee (except to us original warriors who paid for access to begin with...lol). I mean really, fellow warriors, there's literally 10s of 1000s of dollars worth of information here. If you pay attention, you can watch people research a market right here on the forum and then build a product people are asking for based on that research and then SELL that product in a WSO to the people that asked for it and of course everyone else that wants it. Fortunes are being made right before our eyes.

That being said, the only problem I see here is spending TOO MUCH time right here on the forum and NOT ENOUGH time on our own projects. However, as long as we learn as we go and don't waste what we learned our time will be well spent.

Honestly, I could spend over an hour on this one post alone, coming up with reasons why I like this place so much. I've learned so much here and picked the brains of people I never would have met if not for this forum. But instead of writing that hour long post, I'll leave that for my fellow warriors.

How about you? Are you addicted to the Warrior Forum?

Peace & Prosperity,
Matt Fulger

It's a good thing I can't get the forum intravenous. It would bring a whole new meaning to having a monkey on my back.

Matt, didn't you used to write cgi scripts, or am I thinking of someone else?

Yeah, and you're excited to do it too. It's not like, "oh no, time to get up already" it's more like "Sweet, time to go check out the Warrior Forum."

Yep there is a Matt that used to write a lot of CGI scripts back in the day, in the 1990s, your telling on hold long you have been around now.

Actually I still have some of his scripts on a hard drive somewhere.

The WF is a great place, sometimes I have to force myself to close the window so I can get some programming work done.

BTW of course, this post is a joke! I have threatened for YEARS that I might ONE DAY, not be the number 1 poster. I think I acheived that only a few weeks ago.

Often times I open up WF for "just 5 minutes", and end up spending hours reading and writing down information in my google.docs These "A-ha!" moments are too addictive.

Kay King has 14 more posts than I do as of the time this gets posted, assuming SHE posts no more! So I am now SECOND! BTW Patrician is a not so distant 3rd! Hey Paul, yeah I remember you from WAY back. I think you may have joined even before me. But yeah, it would be great to see some of the old timers back in here. How about Marlon Sanders or Chayden Bates? Are they still around here lurking, I wonder? I know the're still online.

Anyway, yeah, for the most part it just gets better with time. However, I do recall a short period where there were an excessive amount of garbage posts from moronic idiots. It seems clowns like that are banned much quicker these days.

Justin, I've found myself always leaving the WF open in one tab too. In fact, my browsers (FF and Opera) start with the WF already open in one tab. Although, I'm not always logged in. But anytime I want to find some info or just see what's going on at the WF, it's ALWAYS just a simple click away.

Originally Posted by TOPGUN08 View Post

I think there are probably 100s of forum lurkers (guests) that never post that are addicted to this place as well.
Well, in some cases that's true enough. But if you look at my forum post count compared to the 2002 join date, you will see I only have 488 posts (this will be the 489th). Now look at Terry Crim or Paul Myers or anyone else from 2002 for that matter (with the exception of Steve W. and Steve ***seasoned***, they don't count, they are BOTH wired directly to the WF, without them this forum would crash and die).

I average 0.22 Posts Per Day. At first glance, I wouldn't seem to be ADDICTED to someone not knowing me and checking out my profile. But who says you have to login and post to be addicted?
Sometimes, I'm one of those guests. Just as I suspect quite a few others I know are doing the same thing. They read and learn and hopefully apply the info.

That said, there have been periods where I was simply offline and didn't have access to the forum.
Talk about withdawals. There's NO substitute. Drugs don't work, I tried. That's why it's WORSE than a Crack Addiction, there's NO substitute. With Crack, at least they have drugs to help ease you off the addiction (not that I've ever been a crack head....but my older brother was, seriously). That doesn't apply to this forum though, dammit. No way to ween yourself off of it. LOL

But for the most part, I've stayed quiet publicly over the years. I've contacted people through PMs and/or Yahoo or email, etc. and built some good relationships with some really good people.

              Hence, my addiction.

Thanks. Stick around here and YOU will be ADDICTED in no time. That is, if you are into Internet Marketing. I honestly don't think you can find a better place. Sure, there are tons of marketing forums. But there is Only ONE Warrior Forum. This forum literally makes Millionaires and you can literally watch it happen. You can even BE one of them. Network with people, learn and teach if you can. Most of all, have fun while you do it. Don't make it a chore.

BTW, I've been following some of your posts too lately. In fact, when I first got access back to the forum (after being gone for over a year), I thought you might be the Steve below *seasoned* purely based on your post count and the name Steven. I had thought maybe "seasoned" FINALLY decided to change his username to his Real Name (I recall a debate over it some time ago, but he didn't wanna lose his post count).

Naturally, after spying on you for awhile it was obvious you are not the ****STEVE**** I suspected. But I liked your posts, so I kept following them. LOL You have some really good posts, man. I like the way you tell it like it is. I seen a few people upset with you for calling most affiliates dumbasses. I know it was heated and said in the heat of the moment, but I commend you for telling it like it is man. The way you see it and the way you've experienced it. Let them bitch and complain and cry and whine all they want, what you were saying is true and you shouldn't be punished for being honest. I like the bluntness to your posts. And lets face it, you didn't offend any of the REALLY Good Affiliates that you want promoting your stuff because they understood the context of everything you were saying since they probably didn't just skim and blindly post rebuttals, plus the fact that the've been around the block a few times and are more thick skinned than those you were referring to as untrainable.

Way to go Steven, Tell it like it IS!

Man, I don't know how you guys do it. You must be super speed readers and type 1000 wpm.
Yeah, I know you aren't competing. You've just always spoke your mind and shared your wisdom. Some of the shit you come up with amazes me. I'm thinking, where the HELL does he come up with this stuff.

Yes, I do remember when you were WAY out there. Wait a minute....you mean, you aren't now? Since when? LOL

No problem on the compliments man. I've always like your style. Serious one second and funny the next in some cases. I really like the way you illustrate your point. It works. It almost MAKES people understand. I've always been pretty BIG on using CAPS to illustrate a point as well. But I picked up the *******FROM YOU*******, which BTW, I only use here at the WF in threads you are in. Yeah, I'm MOCKING YOU. How you like now? LOL

Actually, I recall some pretty heated debates with you back in the day. Don't have a clue what they were about now, but I remember your posts because of your typing style. Now, I've had LOTS of heated debates in my time and I tend to be blunt and piss people off when I'm talking about something I really believe in. But I don't recall most debates at all. Once they are over, they are over. I mean, I don't know who they were with, nor do I care (helps me from holding grudges). But I can still recall them with you, specifically cuz of the way you write. I still don't hold any grudges though. Like I said, once it's over, it's over. No point being pissed off over opinions.

Yeah, I didn't mention it in my previous post, but I recall a few heated debates with you too. That's ALWAYS fun cuz neither one of us wants to give until we see some sort of PROOF of the bullshit being slinged! And we're both a tad IN YOUR FACE with our opinions. Of course, in many cases there's more bullshit being slung by idiots trying to get in the middle of our debates than either one of us are slinging. That's when we BOTH turn on THEM and tell them the way it is, and how idiotic they really are. ROFL

I will concede that you have proved me wrong a time or two. But I've never been one to NOT admit it when I'm proven wrong and neither are you last I knew.

BTW, I actually started to mention that I recalled heated debates with you too in my previous post but I lost the ENTIRE post and had to write it all over. Dammit. I hate it when that happens. Now I remember why I usually write my posts in notepad and then paste it here to post. LOL

                    Matt,

Yeah, we had our debates. Us and just about everyone else in those days. It seems that, back then, people understood that the ability to hold your own in a discussion and make your points clearly in the face of opinions that disagreed with you strongly and emotionally was a strength, not a weakness.

I see a lot of newer folks who wither under the first sign of logical disagreement, much less anything that smacks of personal disapproval. I often wonder how those people expect to survive in the real world, where folks aren't always so willing to listen, and they can't force everyone into boring, generic molds.

Or, for that matter, why they'd want a world like that.

I've always been of the opinion that it's better to test your beliefs before the world drops on your shoulders and you need them to support you.

Or, from a marketing perspective, before you spend a fortune developing the perfect widget whacker, only to find out that people don't want their widgets whacked...

Yeah, what happened to the good, healthy (and many times heated), informative debates? Where in the end, everyone appreciated the info learned instead of putting their head between their legs.

I, personally enjoy IN YOUR FACE debates. That way the point comes across right away, instead of beating around the bush so as NOT to offend anyone. The way I see it, if you are offended by my posts, don't read them.

                      ROFLMAO

I admit to being guilty of that in the past, even knowing I should test the market FIRST and then produce the product. What gives? Sometimes, we just have to learn the HARD way.

                      Okayloman,

Stick around the WF for awhile, read the threads that interest you. If there's nothing of interest to you with a quick look at the forums, do a search on something you want to know and you will likely find some great posts with people sharing info they normally charge for.

Ok. I'm leaving for real this time before my widget whacker falls asleep.

Addicted. I'm not addicted. I could quit anytime. So what if I refresh the main forum every 30 secs and have the WF injected intraveneously into my arm. Doesn't everyone?

This forum is the hall of doors. You start heading down one path, and the next thing you know you have opened 15 other doors and forgot where you started! So much rich information. Maybe too much for a noob like me.

I just got back from a long vacation and I am online.

I don't even know the whole story but have been following this thread
      http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-allisong.html

It's suspenseful you know, watching Bev's detective work and where she leads next. More truths about the accuser maybe will come out etc.

I know others are following it closely. It's not only me.
