I bought a solo ad to be sent out to subscribers. I sent it out then I check my inbox and I get a couple of messages saying that "I have received your ad and will be sending it out shortly" I also e-mailed a person back asking if she did e-mail my ad out to her subscribers. She got back to me showing her stats on when she sent it ect..

But then I check my clickbank stats and I don't see a change in traffic. I don't know whats going on. Should I just be patient or is clickbank doing something on their end? I would think I should have gotten a spike in traffic or a couple of sales by now.

I am promoting a MMO product so its targeted.

Need some feedback.

    Hey kb,
Quick question - did you add tracking of your own cause that is always a good idea just so you can see it for yourself. But yes, clickbank should have shown a spike in traffic if this solo ad vendor actually sent it out. Maybe give it a day or two just in case something is going on with clickbank.

Some of these solo ad vendors sad to say are not very honest when it comes to sending out traffic. Have you done an ad with this person before?

Again give it a day or so to see if clickbank adjusts there traffic and I would reach out to that vendor and see what she says.

If she gives you a hard time or can't give you the answers you are asking for than something is wrong. If you purchased through paypal you can always create a dispute to get your money back but that should be your last option.

Its been like a week. Like I said I check my inbox and they say that they received my ad and will be sent out shortly. Thing is I don't see a spike in traffic.

Where are you sending traffic? To your own squeeze first or directly to the offer?

You definitely need to add your own tracking for solo ads in order to track them properly.

Looking for a spike in Clickbank traffic is an indirect measurement. And it is not a very accurate way of telling if you got the clicks you paid for.

I agree that you definitely need to be tracking your links.

The other thing is that if you want to build a long term sustainable business then you need to be building your email list so you should ALWAYS send any traffic that you buy to your squeeze page 1st and then you can redirect them to an offer after they opt in.

If you are going to promote through Clickbank, you need to track each vendor that sends you traffic.

That is what I love about them. They will allow you to create a unique link to each vendor that you send the link to.

If you did it and see no traffic then the solo ad vendor probably did not send you the traffic which I don't believe that they didn't.

Its an ad that I bought. I had them distribute the ad. Now I get messages in my inbox saying that they received the ad and it will be sent to their list shortly.(from individual ezines) So Im beginning to wonder if they will actually send the ad.
