Embedding 3rd party youtube videos on amazon affiliate site?

If I build a niche amazon affiliate website and use other peoples product review/unboxing videos from youtube, would I be breaking any rules?

No problem at all though you might lose your affiliate commissions if they click through on the YT video link description rather than your affiliate links.

True.. OP should just make their own video and rank it properly. ie, use ranking competitors keywords, use a long description, Put your website link as the first thing in the description. ect. I would never put a competitor's video on my site that they are an affiliate of the same product.

Another advantage of your own video, is that you drive traffic to your site from the second or third (depending on who you believe) largest site in the world.

In Youtube, if you do not want to have your video shared, you can turn off the share button. So if they have the button on, and you get a embed code, it is because they agreed to share it.

The main thing would be to try and find videos that are not in direct competition with you for the product commission. Sometimes you can find generic type videos that talk about how a product in general is used rather than a specific model. But even then, you might lose some potential commission.

The ideal video is the one that you make yourself. The next best type of video is one made by an enthusiast who is not trying to sell a product.

I don't see anything wrong with embedding someone else's videos. If they didn't want to be shared they can turn that off. Main thing do not link from you own video (description box, too) to amazon. That's a great way to lose your entire account.
