      Wow, they do now? I remember when they didn't.

      Anyway, I use ipage now. I have done a live chat with them and everything. And they don't support it. Are there any great squeeze page builders I can use that work well with ipage.

        Never listen to support:

        Use IonCube with Zend PHP Optimizer
        iPage's servers run Zend Optimizer version 3.2.0. To use IonCube with Zend PHP Optimizer, include the following syntax in the php.ini file:
        • for PHP4
          zend_extension = /usr/local/lib/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so
        • for PHP5
          zend_extension = /usr/local/lib/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so
        To find your php.ini file:
        1. Log into your control panel
        2. Go to Scripting and Add-Ons > CGI and Scripted Language Support
        3. Select PHP Scripting
        4. Your php.ini file is displayed at the bottom of the page
        For further assistance and more details regarding using PHP, please refer to the article Getting Started with PHP.

    Alright, thanks. But I got one more problem, when I import the links, I now have this message:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I have no idea. Now that you know the process for iPage I'd go back to support and show them their own knowledgebase and see if that jogs their memory to help you.

    This is what they said:

    Hello Ernest,

    I have added correct ionCube PHP Loader code in the php.ini file and resolved the internal server error message. Now the website says 'cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader'. It appears that you theme requires latest version of ionCube PHP Loader which is not yet installed on our server. We will upgrade the ionCube PHP Loader version in near future but we dont have the exact time frame.

    If you have any further questions, please update the Support Console.

    Sincerely,

    Sandeep K

    Now basically, I am out of luck now, I have to research and find another sales page creator that does not require ionCube PHP Loader. I don't have the time to transfer 20 websites towards another web hosting provider. I will stick with iPage and find some solution.

    FYI: When you move to a good host like Liquid Web, they will usually move all your sites for you at no charge. Took them only 30 minutes to 1 hour to do the transfer.

    Everyone should now leave HostGator. They really suck after they were sold.
