Nick - you obviously believe in your product and that is good enough for me.

A membership site need not be complicated.

But trust me - if you want to build a long term business with value, membership sites are the best way to go.

Membership sites are also by far the most valuable if you want to sell the business. Most IM sites are worth squat unless someone comes along who doesn't understand business, because there are too many factors that are out of the control of the webmaster.

Membership sites show a consistent monthly income with named subscribers, and worth a lot of money - depending on other factors of course.

You could make a simple membership site with WordPress, AMember and so on.

It is usually easier to sell to customers because if you would have charged say $97 for the whole series of products, you can charge a $47 per month subscription - which is much easier to sell - and providing the subscriber stays for 2 months you make more or less the same.

If it is a course, and if the product is good, the subscriber would likely stay. So if you had say 12 videos, you would make $564 instead of $97, and of course you could keep adding products.

You could even charge $27 per month and still be ahead after 4 months.
