Website not growing fast, should i ditch it?

Hello all,

My website Slavorum - Slavic forum is a community portal/forum for Slavic people (from Russia to Poland to Croatia etc.). Anyway the website is growing, daily from 5-10 new members join, but after the ridicilous adsense ban i somehow have the feeling it isn't going fast enough, nor do i actually see any potential in earning anymore.

I have worked hard on it from zero, for 2 years (to get the forum started and gather people), and now when they do come i have lost my optimism.

What should i do? is this one of those failed projects that should be better ditched/sold to someone else or?

    I see i've made several same threads, due to this website's internal error.

    Anyway, anyone got any advice to share? should i dump the project or keep it pushing?

      As i said they happened due to warriorforum internal error with database.

    I have owned several forums before. I found that even if you have tens of thousands of members and several thousand visitors a day, I was unable to make over $1000 per month. In fact, I would be lucky to make over $100 with one of these large forums. If you do not have AdSense, the figures would be even lower. There are several CPM networks that may be more suitable for your forum than AdSense. But still, you should not expect much earnings. Honestly, I would consider selling it and move on.

    You need to work on some daily mindset.

    if you've lost your optimism then that's why you think you should ditch it.

    You made it work in the past and built it from nothing.

    I scrapped my initial business because in truth it was done all wrong. I learned important elements I lacked, implemented them, and since then I have something I believe in and will make it work no matter the cost.

    You'll be surprised how much 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night of listening to motivational speakers or reading books about wealth will impact you and your business.

    You need to be resourceful. If adsense is responsible for your traffic decrease.... go elsewhere. Maybe work within the new adsense and adjust. Online business requires you to be creative and resourceful. You made it work and if you believe that's where your money and passion lie then make it work again.

    Forums really aren't that great for making money in my opinion. Some have made a ton, but it's so very rare.

    Well it started as just a forum. Then i added the front page portal with some of mine custom programming so it looks like "wordpress" site...and i planned on adding a webshop later.

    But since adsense ban i don't know, everything i do feels like wasted time.

      If your heart isn't in it anymore and you have genuinely tried your best then find something new and learn from any mistakes that you might have made along the way.
