$10 Email Subscriber Worth Per Month

So, I recently started setting up:

-Squeeze page
-Immediate monitizer;$7 product so people can start getting in the "buyer mood"
-Main Product
-Upsell
-Downsell
-15 content emails + Promo Emails for the first month
-3 of those content emails will be short videos (2-3 minutes) of content

Main thing is, my main goal is to overall get a subscriber rate worth of $10 per month for each subscriber, I'm aware each subscriber for most people is only about $1, but I'm also aware some people achieve a subscriber rate of $100+ per month.

If you had to give me some techniques or suggestions, how would I go about achieving this? I want to build a really good relationship with my subs and I know I do that by giving away great content etc. Which I'm doing but I feel like by just doing that I still wont even achieve that goal? Suggestions?

PS- this is in the IM niche.

thanks.

Treating your subscribers as assets it's not a good idea. I've been into email marketing, how it's mostly preached - it's a world of junk and peddlers. Aggressive email marketing strategies do work only in conjunction with good consistent sources of new subscribers, but anyways it's shabby in the long term.

You'll be much better off establishing a good relations with your subscribers, don't bombard them with cold promo emails only.

I am sorry to say but that is why we have subscribers. They are an asset because they make us money.
And we are after subscribers because they make us money.
We don't collect people email addresses for fun
One need to think like a true business man. You have to know how much your subscriber worth to you. If you are unaware of your basic and important statistics of your list, how would you progress with your list and how would one grow it more.

Yes I have one. I have subscriber rates that high and higher but not on a 7 dollar product.

I am one to say anything is possible but if you accomplish this, bottle it and sell it for a pretty penny.

On a 7 dollar product your probably looking at .50 cents a subscriber and that 1.00 rule was good in the old days it's not good anymore especially with IM products. Subscribers worth has dropped alot in the last couple of years.

    Just being realistic is all.

I never did calculate how much each subscriber is worth to me. Some people do.

The key is not trying to figure out the numbers but getting new and fresh leads to your list every single day.

I would work with 10-100+ everyday.

you can either focus on making a $1,000 per 100 new subscribers in the front end.

or If you have 1,000 subscribers, in your email marketing focus on 2 sales @ $1250 each per week = $10,000 a month a.k.a $10 per month per subscriber

Or You can focus on making half in the front end & the other half in your email marketing

If you sell a subscription for $10 per month then obviously your subscriber value is $10 a month.

With a $7 product you will find it very difficult to get a subscriber value that is in the range that you expect.

Your best option is to create higher priced products. Once you start selling $1,000 products your subscriber value goes up to the $10 range.

@IrmShr: I dont know what impression you got but I'm not blasting Promo emails...I have set up my subs to receive an email every 2 days and the majority of those emails are nice content and information about myself and asking what kind of info they wanna see etc. But then of course I will do promo emails every month as well.

@Hustlinsmoke/HPgoodboy: Yes, The $7 product is the first thing promoted to establish what kind of content I can provide to them and just get them buying...then the upsell for that product is a $47 product that is the main product for the month. I plan on promoting higher end products to those people that are in fact buying and for those that are not I plan on getting them into a buying cycle and feeling comfortable spending money with me starting with them purchasing a lower end product at the start.

@digitalproducts, I agree. They are an asset. Create a solid relationship with them, free content for them that is quality and in return they will buy our promoted products when the time comes.

I have said this in prior posts. What I do is segment very well.

I give something away free, send them some more value and then blast with an offer. the offer is usually about 7 to 9 dollars.

Those people come off and go into a list more named for them.

I continue to email both lists and offer something 2 to 3 times a month.

Each list gets segment, as I get more buyers on the free list they come off.

I start to sell higher priced items to the first segment that bought at 7 go slow. 19.97 then 29.97 ect.

I promise on my freebys I don't get many to segment very far but this does help me alot.

Even when I have solo emails. Before I sell solo ads on them I will keep them for a few weeks to see how many are buyers and segment them. I never want a email that is worth money to get away. I look for very good value to them before I make an offer.

HustlinSmoke...Thanks for this advice. I have never segmented my lists but I have seen other people talk about it. I always felt like my list wasn't big enough to really do it but after reading your post I have a better grasp of the concept and it makes way more sense. I am definitely going to implement this. Thanks again.

VERY FEW people in the IM niche have subscriber values at $10/month, nevermind $100. VERY VERY FEW

A great goal but don't be discouraged if you don't come close.

You have to remember for any medium or large list, a majority of people won't open your email, nevermind click....so your value per CLICK may approach a high number but your value per SUBSCRIBER will be much much lower.

Yeah it is disappointing to hear and I kinda knew it was near impossible but I'm just really trying hard to set up a system in which I have a great relationship with my subscribers and segment well and provide a lot of value to them etc. and just really want to hit that $10 subscriber mark.

      we will see. thanks Kenster

Just remember, metrics like that mean nothing on their own. The ultimate metric is business is PROFIT.

Earning $10/month per sub is pretty crappy if you have 5 subscribers.

I would rather have a wider net audience of 50,000 subscribers making $0.10/month

Think about this. You can set up a campaign to feed massive massive massive value, give out all this free stuff, give out free coaching sessions before you ever ask for an opt in. Then after all that for 6 months, you ask for an opt in and of the 10,000 people that saw your campaign, 100 people end up opting in 6 months later. Sure your value per subscriber at that point is going to be wickedly high, but again, that doesn't mean it'll result in the most profit.

If you asked for the opt in up front, you may have a horrendous campaign, terrible opt ins, terrible $/month/subscriber and end up walking away with 10x more profit.

Obviously those are extremes, but my point is it's very rare you should focus on one metric like $/month. If you do focus on one metric, it should be net profit

        Good luck

  • You have to build a good relationship with your list and give them information that is of value .
Build trust, write and recommend products that will be of value to them and the money will come.
My List is special and I always try to bring them things of value.
    Hope this helps
Wish there was a quicker way

If you want to be build a good relationship
with them then the best thing you can ever
do is tell the truth and relate to them.

Quick question: What are you teaching them
or giving them as free content your subs?
