Outsourcing to Part-Time?

I'm fairly new to outsourcing, and is it a good idea to outsource to somebody part-time, who also already has another job, or is that a bad idea?

I just want your insight regarding this, any experience you may had good or bad?

No problem, as long as they can do it as you wish.

Maybe I am overthinking it because I was under the impression by some folks that outsourcing part-time will affect work efficiency and quality of the work.

It depends on what kind of work you want to outsource...

  • It depends on the amount of work you're willing to outsource and how much you can afford to pay. The important things is to give precise instructions and you guys agree about the quality of work and the deadlines before you start.

You can also check out their customer's testimonials and work profile before you outsource. If a person is doing part time job, it does n't mean that he will do your work less effectively.

what kind of job you are outsourcing? Giving more details about the job, then you can get more accurate answers.

Yes you can, But you have to firstly analyze profile of another person whom you are going to give work. If you are paying enough for it then definitely he/she will do passionately.

That's no problem at all. As long as they can finish the task you've provided.
Others are even doing 2-3 jobs at the same time.

I agree with the rest of the posts here. If you are outsourcing the job to someone who is truly capable of doing them and you trust that person, then there is no reason to worry. Besides, you can gauge the work efficiency with his/her output anyway.
