Hello all. I would like to set up some blogs and I have a simple question. I am hoping to get some answers from some experienced, seasoned blogger's. I have 10 PLR articles and I would like to insert my affiliate link. Is it better for me to have 1 blog with one main article as the post and then have the rest of the articles, on that same subject (labeled as related articles) in the sidebar or would it be better to create 10 separate blogs for each of the 10 articles. Also, would I have to be concerned about duplicate content, since these are blogs hosted on my server in wordpress? Thanks for any feedback... EJ |

This is a good question, EJ... I think the answer depends a lot on where you are expecting your traffic to come from. If you are looking for Search Engine traffic, you are better off with one blog on one domain. This will get you the maximum PageRank benefit, which will give you the greatest chances of showing up high in the Search Engine Results Pages. If you are looking to drive traffic through PPC, it might be better to have 10 different blogs, each one keyword optimized to enhance your quality score and get lower bid rates. If you have a list (or a JV relationship) that you are pushing these to, it doesn't really matter. As for duplicate content, as long as you aren't posting the exact same article multiple times on the same blog or domain, you should be ok. |
