I'm afraid there's little market for those .ws or .bz at the moment. The market looks for .com, .net, .org, .info and some country ones like co.uk, .es.

I agree. Keep in mind however that there was once a time when people said; "There's no market for .info or .biz" and so on. Times change and so there is no guarantee on what a good or bad investment is.

I like to think of it this way: 30 years ago, the west end and the southwest end of my city was nothing but farmland. Who could know what direction most of the development would take. There were a lot of guesses. As it turned out, those two regions have seen the most growth and as a result, the land owners in those regions are now rich.

So a .ws or .bz may not seem valuable right now but no one can predict the future. I own a "very" valualbe .info domain, relative to my main industry, that I just gambled on years back. It was considered "useless" when I bought it by many people. It is now one of my strong cards.

I don't know what you're willing to invest. There's a risk either way. If it's not too hefty of a price and it's a strong word, you may want to consider it.

    Candy.com sold for $3 million.

    Today.

So a single word out of the English dictionary (pretty common; 3 syllables) that ends in .org may be fairly valuable?
I'm no domainer, but I think yes - it should be pretty valuable!

      AFAIK, Yes.

It depends on what the domain is though. N4Y.com is obviously less valuable than TOY.com but still, it's memorable enough and from what I know, one can get around $500 for it!

Any 3 or 4 letter .com has value - depending on whether it is a real word.

There are domain investors buying up domains as investments rather than to use on a site.

I think it's a good buy. I would have considered it. I just looked up ".cn extension" on Google and it brought up an interesting forum thread on "Google's .CM Domain Spam Plague". Hmmm...

Domains are worth what people will pay for them.

As for homesforsale.cn - there is not a great point in having such a general and generic name because this would probably be among the first that anybody even thinking about buying a home is going to search for. It looks to me like a bottomless pit for PPC

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Oh stop... if I see or here that nonsense perpetuated one more time
I'm going to run screaming from the room..lol

.ws is for Western Samoa. The clowns at that company have perpetuated
      the website nonsense.
