what makes you more money - your sales funnel or CPL marketing to your list?

Im taking a coaching program from a young marketer andi have studying his course as well as another persons course, one leads more towards the sales funnel and the other leads more towards CPL.

So if you had to choose one what would it be?

i know you can just integrate both in your sales funnel but im just curious.

    I think probably the sales funnel if you get it set up right. If you have a really high converting sale funnel you can see some really awesome results. I would at least focus on that first because it is really key.

    If I needed some quick money in the short term, then I would want to focus on CPL, but if I wanted money that would be there over time, I would use the sales funnel, and try to get them to buy a recurring billing product / membership.

    is this all in the front end funnel? or once they are in your autoresponder with email marketing?

    either way i like my own sales funnel vs promoting cpl, but i guess it will depend on the niche and EPC.

    Well both for me, but in the long run I will make more on the list but both are of upmost importance.

    We make our upfront money with frontend offers and bonus money with oto's. My list provides my main income.

    Without my funnels most of my list wouldn't exist.

    The purpose of the sales funnel is to build the list.

    If the sales funnels is build well it pays for the list and even makes a profit.

    The long term income comes from the list.
