Same Product - Multiple Domains & Sales Pages

Duplication or not?

Once you have your sales funnel set up online with your new product, do you recommend sticking with just that one domain and one sales page etc or do you recommend using multiple domains and duplicate sales pages to increase subscribers/sales?

I'm not sure if this would work well with auto-responders unless separate lists were used, one for each sales page, but that must be simple enough to set up.

What do you do?

It can be good to have more than one sales page selling the same thing as you can do split-testing. This where you have 2 sales pages selling the same product but they are slightly different to each other.

For example, one sales page may have a red buy button while the other sales page has a green buy button. You will be able to see which one makes the most money.

The one that makes the most money would be the sales page that you stick with.
You could then test this sales page that made the most money with another feature if you wanted to, for example you then test a headline, colour, price etc

This can be done with squeeze pages as well as sales pages.

You could maybe try doing this on sub-domains.
Would be interesting what others have to say about whether we should use sub-domains, another page on our domain or a completely new domain to do split-testing of our sales and squeeze pages.

Having more domains isn't going to necessarily increase your sales. You would be much better off having the one domain and spending your time on driving traffic to that one site.

One domain for me. If you stick to the essentials of making money online, and not worry about trying any "new techniques"... you'll sleep easier at night, AND... you'll actually make money on the internet.

I have heard that affiliates (for your product) don't like this, as they see that the same sales page is on multiple domain names, so this causes leakage for the product.

If you have exact copies, Google will most likely just sink one or all. I would put all my effort into one unique site

I think it would make perfect sense to have multiple domains and sales letters if you alter the product and sales letter just a little on each domain to target specific groups.

    Example...

One site would be the widget for women. Another site might be the widget for men. Another maybe the widget for grandmothers. Another could be the widget for soccer players. I think this is enough to give you the idea I'm trying to convey.

This would give you a whole new set of key words for each site. Instead of having a wide and general target market, you could narrow your advertising down to specific target markets.

If you are not planning on doing something like that then I see no advantage of having multiple domains and sales letters.

    Best regards,
