Any way to randomize an Aweber autoresponder feed? Or something like that?

Hiya,

I'm playing around with offering a "challenge" on my website for people to receive an exercise a day for a week(geared towards them achieving their goals within the niche). This by itself is something I know how to do, but...

What I'd like to be able to do is tell them they're getting 5 out of 50 possible exercises and then find a way to be able to randomize what they get.

Is there any simple way of doing that? (I'm using Aweber.)

If you want to know my reasons for this, I'd be happy to share, but it seems beyond the point of the topic.

Thanks!
Devin

A bit of an explanation of what you are trying to do might help.

Is it just 5 random tasks out of a possible 50? It doesn't seem that would lead them to accomplish anything as the tasks could be unrelated or counterproductive.

You might be able to use Aweber's 'split-test' option for this. You can set up a number of different emails to test and then set the odds that any one will be chosen to send.

It is designed to test subjects/content/calls to action.

So you could set up a campaign of 5 emails and each email is selected randomly from a pool of possible emails.

For each of the 5 emails in your sequence, set up a split test with different possible emails (tasks).

The drawback is you are limited to 4 emails to test so you could have 20 tasks broken into 5 groups of 4 with one of the four selected each broadcast email.

    i.e.

    Email 1: (Task 1,2,3 or 4)
    Email 2: (Task 5,6,7 or 8)
    ...
    etc

You could have unlimited emails but only four possible selections for each one.

That may be too small a set for you.
