A few questions on releasing WSOs - ALL RESPONSES WELCOME!

Hey Guys,

I have a few questions regarding releasing my 1st ever WSO if there are some people that wouldn't mind answering some (or all) of them!

1. If I were to create an information product showing people how to make money outsourcing writing jobs to people and selling them for a profit, do you think I would make more money selling it as a WSO or as a click bank product or another site like that? Anyone had any previous experience with this?

2. What price do you guys think i should sell it for? Like what do you think would result in the best profit?

The product will consist of a 2,000 word ebook with pictures (including case studies), a video showing you how to set up an account with the website, a list of the best writers available from this source and a few bonus pdf guides as well. The main product will cover MANY different ways to use this SUPER cheap source to make a profit!

3. Is it possible to recruit affiliates to help promote your WSO? How would you go about this?

4. Is there a way, after a while to use the WSO to build a list rather than to sell, like can you change the price to free after a while? and link to a squeeze page (included in the $40 listing fee)

5. Do you have any tips about releasing a WSO?

Thank-You VERY much in advance for ANY replies!

PLEASE NOTE
My WSO is not about using fiverr, incase anyone brings it up!

1 - I would try doing this product as a wso as there are probably people on this forum who are already interested in getting involved in the writing business.

Your product sounds very good, as I am interested myself. Would be great to know of some good writers who we can outsource work to for our clients.

2 - You could try a dimesale where for every sale the price goes up a certain number of cents - this would encourage people to buy before the price goes too high. Also would be good to do a one time offer.

3 - Yes you can have affiliates promote your product wherever you decide to sell it.
Others would probably know exactly how to go about this.

4 - After a while of selling your wso for a price - you certainly can give it away for free to build a list. Simply have a button saying free which would link to your squeeze page. You can then say on your free wso thread "This was once a paid wso that was selling for (price) and sold (number) of copies - Now it is Free"

When you mention it was a paid wso and now it is free, it will look more valuable, encouraging people even more to get on your list to get this free wso.

5 - One tip is to do a free wso first to get some subscribers on your list, then when you sell your paid wso - you can then also tell the people on your list about your paid wso.

First and foremost thing you must do before actual WSO

Give some review copies of you WSO to senior/hyperactive members of this forum .It will help you in getting idea and valuable reviews from them .

You can try this model for your product

      Put your product on JVZoo

Then you launch a WSO for it

What you get with this model

A lot of affiliates for your product

Easy to manage your sales and also good price control.

You can easily integrate autoresponder on JVZoo to create your own list

Cost of your WSO -Well it depends on a lot of factors like you can get a logo for $5 alson and for $450 also .So it is upto you what you think is optimal price for you.

If you need help in JVZoo setup i can help with that .

      Thanks

    1. There have been several WSOs showing this - check the responses and stats at Warrior+ and JVZoo to see approximate sales figures but so long as you've got an angle, it should work.

    2. Price - if it's your first WSO, check what similar products have sold for but typical range is anything from free to just under $20

    3. Affiliates seem to find me easier on Warrior+ and they instinctively smell money (sales!). Initial recruitment: never done it personally, always used my list and then let the sales do the talking.

    4. You could do but like everything else there's not much traffic beyond the first page or two of the WSO section unless it's you or an affiliate driving it. Some people have had success with sending solo ad traffic to WSOs

    5. Several WSOs on how to launch a WSO or check out the link in this signature

    1. JVZoo and/or WSO. There are a few 'service arbitrage' systems that show how to find services writing/design/seo cheap from one supplier (fiverr/iwriter/odesk) and then resell at a higher price to a different market (WF/Craigslist).

    2. Multiple products
    ebook - dimesale to $7
Complete system describes everything you need to know.

    upsell - $27
Real case studies show exactly how others did it using the system- everything revealed + My super secret private list of ACTUAL SERVICE providers you can use starting right away

downsell - $17 Just the secret resources (no case studies)

    3. Yes, in WSO or JVZoo. Contact possible JV's. Start a 'pre-launch' opt-in list. Offer 100% commission on the front end. Have an affiliate sign-up page.

    4. You don't need to give it away for free to get sign-ups. You can start your prospect list with 'pre-launch' sign-ups. Running the offer you can add buyers to your buyers list. Use an exit-pop or squeeze page before the sales page to capture leads.

    5. THIS!

I would recommend listing it on the Warrior Forum, because you would get free traffic. Unless spending money on traffic is not a big issue for you. Even so, this is a great place to have your offer, since this site gets so much traffic

get testimonials by selling review copies. add these testimonials to your sales copy.

Have your paid costumers go through an opt-in form to access the product (building a buyers list)

in the download area/members area - have a link to a JV section promoting your affiliate program. provide email swipes and banners. and maybe do a contest.

give out 100% commissions and 50% commission on the upsell. (whats in it for you? building a buyers list)

Just make sure you have a "No thanks, just take me to the download" option so PayPal doesn't ban you.

*I have read on this forum, that PayPal does not allow this practice and will close your account (and keep your money) if someone complains that they bought a product and can't download it without opting in.

My advice would be to stand out from the crowd. The market is saturated with the "Make-Quick-Buck" info products so in order to do well you should work out your original pitch and write a compelling sales letter.

WSO is a "Warrior Special Offer."
Special can refer to several different factors IE: you offer it cheaper here than on your main site, or this offer includes additional things that perhaps your main site does not.

This forum is just ONE advertising venue. So many will actually go for the long term click bank product, but release a WSO version here for a limited time in order to test.

Things you can test like pricing. You create your clickbank product, but also run it as a WSO and do something like a dime sale to see how high you go in order to determine your final pricing.

        2. What price do you guys think i should sell it for? Like what do you think would result in the best profit?
As much as the market is willing to pay.

        3. Is it possible to recruit affiliates to help promote your WSO? How would you go about this?
Look into the JV section on this forum, list your offer on affiliate directories, on your download page mention you have an affiliate program and direct your buyers as to where that is.

        4. Is there a way, after a while to use the WSO to build a list rather than to sell, like can you change the price to free after a while? and link to a squeeze page (included in the $40 listing fee)
You "should" be set up in the beginning with an automated opt-in - where your buyers are automatically added to your list. This is built into a lot of different product delivery systems and is completely ethical in that your buyers deserve to be updated on your product.

Down the road if you want to change it to free then you simply link those people to an opt-in page to get a link to the product (or access to private members area).

        5. Do you have any tips about releasing a WSO?
Just do it. Get it done.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee with WSO's. You can put all your ducks in line but you won't know until you launch it. The biggest thing I would concentrate on is your product quality and getting big affiliates lined up to promote it. Those are the things that will make the biggest difference.

I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this, not the product creation but the whole affiliate thing (from the other side. selling the product rather than promoting it). How does this work, is there something built into the warrior forum that will allow me to do this or would I need to set it up with somewhere like JVZoo ir click bank? I am not really too sure how the whole process works, I am now thinking it's gonna cost me a bit more to start out than I thought maybe?

The Warrior Forum is just one place where you can place your product sales page. Nowadays alot of marketers just self host their page.

Warrior Plus is an affiliate platform (as well as JVzoo) where you can sign up and link your sales page to your affiliate ID so that people can promote your product. Just think of them as your buy button, because that's where the transaction will be channeled through when your buyer clicks and purchases.

Before you choose a platform to launch your offer on, you
might want to check out what they have chosen as WSO's
of the Day's because that will give you an indication of the
types of offers the affiliates on the platform tend to promote.

Bottom line: Choose your platform where you are most likely
to pick up the most affiliates for what you are about to offer:-)
