What's the best place to get a virtual office address?

I'm looking for a great service that will allow me to create a new business address that doesn't look like a typical cheesy "virtual office". I would like the address to look just like a physical address and allow me to use it to forward mail to our physical location etc.

Any recommendations?

      UPS Store has mailboxes with real street addresses.

    I've used the UPS store in the past. You get a regular street address. Plus, unlike the PO, they'll sign for packages for you.

    Brad, I found several services like this in my local area by searching the Yellow Pages. Are you looking for any additional services like having a virtual receptionist who will answer the phone and transfer calls to you? Do you need them to sign for packages for you?

    Places like Mail Boxes Etc., the UPS Store, etc. provide mail services. Also, if you do a keyword search under "virtual office" in places like YP.com and Yelp.com, you might find a place in your local area (or state) that provide these services to you.

    I used Regus for a couple of years when I needed to use conference rooms on the fly and was very happy with them and they also answered my phone calls. You can check them out here:

      I forgot about Regus. My wife has used them before. Gave her a quiet place to work. I don't know if she ever used the conference rooms or anything. But Regus seems like another good idea too.

        At one time I was traveling a lot, throughout the USA and Canada to meet with clients and Regus had a pretty extensive network of offices in many major cities. I know that's not what the OP asked for, but they also receive your mail, answer your phone calls, etc. so it still might be a solution for him.

        I also had access to their copier, scanner, fax, and coffee machine.

          Hi Brad,

          I am currently dealing with Regus and they do advertise mailbox forwarding. The reviews online are all very good but in my case, I have had nothing but problems. I sent a test piece of mail to see if it was forwarded to me and nothing came through. This was 6 months after paying them about $100 per month for the services. I complained and they told me the account was not setup correct. I argued that they could have let me know about this instead of just continuing to charge me each month for a service I was not getting any service for and they just did not want to admit any fault. As I said, they are advertised as one of the best in the business but in my experience, I felt like we have been treated unfairly and not professional by Regus for the 'mailbox plus' plan.

          Hope that helps! I am also searching for a new service so I will be following this thread keenly too.

    For a while the USPS was allowing PO Box holders to use a physical address instead of their PO Box number. You might also want to look into local coworking places. Some offer some fairly extensive services. Alternatively, the UPS store gives you a street address, signs for packages and will even email you when you have mail waiting to be picked up.

    Yeah go down to the ups store or pack and mail. anywhere that rents box's except the post office.

    You wont have to forward just pay 25 a month for the box. the best thing about this is get there card you can have faxes sent to you and so forth for a fee of course.

    I have three, you can put suite on them, apartment number, office or whatever you want it will get to you.

    Here's what works for my needs.

    I've a Rental Storage Unit with A/C five miles from home.
    The unit includes use of conference room, PC, WiFi, mail
    and package reception.

    My address shows 3276 Main St Unit xxxx, City, State and Zip Code.
    You can use apartment, office, suite or whatever is appropriated
    for your business.

    My incoming business phone calls are handled by Skype and transfer
    them to my cel #. I return calls from my cel using Skype to keep my
    cel number private.

        Thank you for sharing. I'd like to add that this person's bad experience was in London and it's also only one review.

        My experience with Regus in their Laguna Hills, California, USA location was excellent. They had a great staff and sometimes even stayed past their closing hours to help with a client.

    dont use mailboxes etc or UPS store if you want to list your business in google maps, its against google's terms of service

    Getting created a physical Business address for your mail processing purposes is not a big deal you can anyway get it done from any office-suite websites ,what makes an impression is the QUALITY,technical support and the services it offers within your desired package,i was in stuck in dilemma just similar to yours , i then subscribed to YESWORKSPACES.COM that i came across from some of the recommendations from my colleagues and yeah it almost meets my every requirement on the desk.Quite appealing!!     The post office is now offering this service - you use their street address and your po box number as a "suite" number. I think it's free too (except for the po box fee of course). Not seeing it on usps.com but my local post office had information on it so you might want to check.

      I think that kind of "Suite number" is perhaps exactly what Brad was saying he wanted to avoid, when he specified "that doesn't look like a typical cheesy virtual office". However, he asked over 6 months ago, and may have found one by now, I suspect.
