Question About Sqeeze Page Conversions....

Hey guys,

This is my first post, happy to finally be apart of this forum! Quick question:

Let's say my funnel is all set up, brand new, and ready to go. And I start sending targeted, quality traffic to two squeeze pages using Facebook Ads. This will be my split test. What would you say is the minimum amount of squeeze page views needed per page for a valid test of how the squeeze pages are converting?

For example, if one squeeze page gets 20 clicks and 5 optins, and the other get's 20 clicks and 10 optins, do I have a relatively clear winner here or is this just enough of data yet to tell?

Thanks in advance
Mark Shihadeh

I wouldnt think so. Now remember it sounds like your writing that you will use seperate ads so that is not a true test.

What you would want to use is a rotator. One click goes to number 1 or a 100 clicks go to number 1 and click 2 goes to number two or clicks 101 to 200 go to number two.

I would say 20 clicks is not enough to judge. I never set a limit just watched and knew when i had enough but i would say a 100 for sure on each.

Okay cool, appreciate the help! BTW I am using the same ad for both pages. So... I'm using Facebook Ads similar to your rotator method. Thanks again man, very helpful!

If you want a small number, 100 will do. Especially since its targeted traffic to something free you are giving out. If you were selling something, maybe a bigger test would be necessary.

    Bro

Did you used software to scrape user ids on facebook? Then create audience campaign? i have no luck with fb ads. Instead of 20 clicks i only got 1 or 2. I did used social vault to scrape the ids.

With solo ads almost 50% opt in rate from 100 clicks.

Hey man, no I didn't scrape the user ids, I just targeted my audience using "Interests". FB Ads can be very tricky at first, with a high learning curve. But once you learn how to set it up correctly, you WILL get the same 50% opt in rate, AND you will get cheaper and often better quality clicks.

But I know what you mean because when I first started with it, I had a hard time too. If you decide to try it again, let me know if I can help in any way.

BTW, 50% opt in is excellent, mine is still below 30%. Are you able to drop your link here so I can see your squeeze page?
