What Type of Squeeze Page Has Been Most Profitable For You?

I'm curious of those of you Warriors who are experts at building funnels that have made solid profits...what type of squeeze pages/opt-in forms do you use?

Do you use the simple one page site opt-in squeeze pages, "reverse" squeeze pages, or have better luck with building content sites/blogs and then getting the opt-ins that way?

It seems like it's so easy to just throw up one of those squeeze pages with just a few sentences of text and an opt-in form using something like Optimize Press...but I wonder if there needs to be a bit more to it to establish trust and a relationship to really land sales on the back-end of the funnel.

I also think a longer squeeze page would filter out bad leads as well, and qualify better ones if done correctly.

Anyway, would love to know your thoughts on what's worked best for you.

    What I have found to be most effective for my tightly sales-oriented marketing style is a rich-content site with conditional opt-in form.

    Visitors must first purchase the recommended product as a condition for subscribing to niche lists. The subscriber form includes a forced field for transaction ID which requires buyers to provide their receipt number.

    It may sound counter-intuitive, but this focused method quickly weeds out unqualified prospects for additional promotions, resulting in a sales funnel with highly responsive buyers.

    I don't know that I would call myself an expert - but I do have two funnels that are just about guarantees (sales wise) once they hit my squeeze page.

    The squeeze pages themselves are very straight forward - I tell you exactly what you will receive when you opt-in to the list, and then I deliver the exact promise in the report.

    I give 4-6 bullet points on what they can expect, I don't use dolla dolla bill graphix or blind squeeze pages or any other craptastic marketing similarities and the funnel produces well.

    The opt-in form does only ask for an email address, which has increased conversions (by leaving out the 'name' field) if nothing else.

    I like keeping it simple and building trust right off the rip. This strategy seems to do well for me, so I stick with it and tweak it when necessary.

    Most of us use a simple opt in page and what makes things better is when you have an exit page. When someone leaves your opt in page, you then have another chance to either get a sale or the person's email.

    I use a software called exit splash and it really does help to make more sales when someone does not want to opt into my list.

      Since you are using an exit pop, I'm assuming you aren't using PPC to drive traffic to it, correct?

    I have tried just about every style squeeze page and the ones that still convert the best for me are the good old fashioned simple squeeze pages with a big attention grabbing headline in red letters, 4-5 bullet points, and then an opt-in form. My highest converting squeeze page of all time is one of those and it converts opt-ins at 60.1%. My current funnel converts sales at 4.7%. (roughly 5 sales per 100 opt-ins). Guess I should work on that. If I had a better offer I think I could do better.

    Hi Dayne, the 1 page works well. Little copy. Clear call to action. I've seen mixed results on using video; video builds trust but also delays the sign up process, so I released on video a while back and have seen steady returns since.

    Test, tweak, test, tweak. Be clear on your offering to reap the greatest returns.
