I have written some articles on ezine, can I also put those on my site without changing? or will it be considered a "copy" by search engines?

    jkiley,

Ideally, you should have some unique content on your web site than that which you submit to EzineArticles, but the truth is you don't have to, to get results.

I've been article marketing for years. And I have some websites where EVERY SINGLE PAGE of the mini-site was submitted as an article to EzineArticles (which they don't have a problem with as long as you own the rights to the article).

The only drawback is that the pages of your web site itself, since it's the same as the EzineArticles will most likely not rank. It will be the articles that pull in the traffic and direct them to your site with the same content.

This strategy works. I have one site (I won't list it here, not because of competition concerns, but because I don't want to appear self-serving). This site has made thousands over the years after about 2 months worth of work when I set it up in 2006.

ALL of the traffic comes from EzineArticles and all of the pages of the site are EXACTLY the same articles I submitted to EzineArticles.

But, again, IDEALLY, you want to get some free search engine traffic to your site as well as that from your articles. And, in this case, you want some unique content on your site that is not being submitted to EzineArticles.

So, to answer your question: yes, the Search engines will consider your website pages as copy and not rank those pages, but it will rank the EzineArticles. It's not going to rank both your pages and the articles.

    Regards,
    Dan

Here is what I usually do.

When promoting websites, I plan out how many unique articles I need written for my website, and then hire someone to write 10-20 freshly written articles fro Ezine. Never submit content that has already been posted on the net. Depending on the quality of articles you submit, you can expect to see some traffic from your articles you submit to Ezine. Submit a few at a time over a period of time.
