New WSO Trend-giving review copies.

Any of you realize this trend? This is very different from old
WSO thread.

The WSO forum is most likely following the DP forum where
giving away review copies is a *must* in every selling thread.

I was wondering why do you need to give away review copies
because you already paid 20USD for your WSO.Why not ask
some reputable member or friends of your to review it for you.

Giving away a review copy to 1-2 reputable members is best. They will evaluate your product and tell other members on your thread if its worth buying, details its covers, etc. Giving their honest review can either help your sales thread, or hurt you. If your product is unique, never seen before, than expect to get very good reviews.

Clearly, you...and those of your mindset...are new to this board.

So-called "Review Copies" are generally sought outside of the offers
      forum...and for good reason.

So we don't have to deal with twerps like you.

      Sorry to have to say.

I personally like the idea of older, respected members of the forum getting reviews and posting their honest opinions. I have seen cases where this has helped and hurt the person selling the product. More importantly this helps protect the community to an extent.

I say keep up with the review copies!

Absolutely..Its better to have 1 honest testimonial from an advanced warrior than 10 'honest' testimonials from the sellers' friends.

It adds credibility. What credibility is there in a review from someone that has only just joined the forum and who none of us know?

By the time I post a WSO I've already have given out several review copies to folks in my network so I don't give out free review copies during the WSO.

I've also noticed that I'm now getting requests via PM for free review copies of my WSO's. Usually from new Warriors.

The rise of review copy requests and serial refunders seems proportional to me too.

Some habits are better left back at that other forum, IMO.

If you want to give review copies and want Warriors in particular to provide the testimonials, then give them out via PM to people here you respect -- not in the WSO itself.

"Review copy plz" is practically synonymous with a certain other forum.

    Warriors don't roll that way.
