I want to get into stock photography business

Hey guys,

Would like to know your input and tips in regards to starting a stock photography business.

My partner is my friend who is an experienced photographer with high end equipment.

He is very interested in the idea of taking stock pictures and selling them.

I'd like to handle the internet side of things (site, marketing, programming).

We are looking to invest 10'000-20'000 $ to get started.

Would really appreciate any tips you might have or maybe some of you have dealt with this business and can give input.

    A few are:
    dreamstime.com
    istockphoto.com
    bigstockphoto.com
    shutterstock.com

    Have a look in the search engines for stockphotography websites, there are a lot of them around. Will be interesting what other ideas, warrior members can think of.

      No, that's not what we want. We want to create our own major website and buy other people's photos in addition to our own.
