Funnel Clicks Versus Solo Clicks

I notice a lot of solo vendors also sell funnel clicks that are cheaper than the price of their usual solo clicks. Is the reason for this because it takes longer to deliver those clicks and/or perhaps the vendor can't guarantee a certain percentage of top-tier with funnel clicks?

Just wondering what other factors would account for the difference in price.

Funnel clicks are links to your squeeze page that are placed on various pages throughout your solo vendor's sales funnel (thank you page, alternate offer, etc.,). In other words, your solo vendor will drive traffic to his own landing page, and behind the landing page, your link will be placed somewhere throughout his/her sales presentation.

Thanks for sharing that thread, however I am still trying to find out why they are cheaper than clicks from a solo ad.

The quality of funnel clicks can't even compete with the quality of getting a click sent directly from an email.

It REALLY depends on where the 'funnel clicks' come from, which is why I only buy from a few specific people when it comes to them.

Funnel Clicks are cheaper because it takes longer to deliver. but they usually convert the same as solo ads.

The time it takes to deliver will certainly be longer. Also people clicking these links probably wont know that its going to your landing page. Bit different than a solo where people are clicking knowing roughly what they are going to, plus they have opened an email. Psychological I think it is different from the customers point of view. I would be less likely to opt in if it was me. But if you have a high converting landing page you might do ok

I don't know, in my experience it seems like almost no solo vendors actually mail your swipe any more. They are almost all just sending out a generic "biz opp" swipe that is intended to generate the most clicks possible - even if they say they aren't. This is especially problematic if you're trying to promote a legit IM product/service.

If anyone knows of people who actually do mail your swipe and/or can generate legitimate IM or affiliate marketing clicks, shoot me a PM. The ones I've found so far are so few and far between that when I look at the time and investment spent it's almost to the point of not being worth it. I find 1 good solo seller for maybe every 20 that I try.

(The above obviously doesn't apply if you're promoting a sketchy biz opp - because that's exactly the type of clicks that most all solo ad sellers seem to generate)

I completely agree. The reason vendors don't want to use your swipe is because they know it will take longer for the clicks to be delivered, which is a conflict of interest because I want targeted clicks for my business. I want the swipe to include an intro to what my offer is all about, not some generic "click here for your free $980 course," only to get a bunch of clicks from people who are confused when no such course exists. The reason many solo vendors say they will use their own swipe because they know what converts best is usually a dead giveaway that they'll be using some generic swipe that's sole purpose is to generate as many clicks as possible, regardless of whether or not the ad-copy matches the offer in any way.

Any publishers out there who care enough to match their ad-copy to my offer so I'm getting the so-called "laser targeted leads" that everyone talks about, shoot me a pm as well. No more free courses or contest swipes for me please.
