Any Wishlist Member Customers here????

Hi,

I'm looking at this product but I have a question.

Is it possible to limit a plugin like a forum using this software? So I want to be able to sign up a member and then allow them to access a forum plugin in wordpress.

Yes -- I do exactly that. I use wishlist with a simplepress forum plugin and it works smoothly. member usernames carry over to the forum, and non-members can't get in.

No sweat at all. See the link in my sig file for more details on how to do it.

Oh, one more thing. If we want to do a trial membership for the first week at a discounted rate and then auto increase it the second month is that something we do through wishlist or is that just handled through paypal?

I have a 100 site license to Wishlist Member.... I am looking to do the same.... Is the Simplepress Forum Plugin easy to implement with Wishlist or is it a complicated setup????

It's a breeze. Simplepress is a WP plug in -- activate it, drop the code into a page protected by Wishlist and you're good to go. After that, you can easily tweak its appearance.

Prices are handled through your shopping cart and/or merchant processer. I use 1 shopping cart, and it's easy to set the intial price to one thing and the recurring price to another. I imagine it's the same way with other payment solutions.

Thanks jonb for your quick response.... I haven't started to use the Wishlist Plugin yet and need to learn it asap.... It's a great plugin and already since launch they have expanded huge to it....
