Building My List- OffereBooks

So, here's an idea I wanted to get some feedback about. So I'm doing the course profit miracle I think it is and I am thinking of every friday offering eBooks I write, small ones which offer just enough information to my list members to get them interested, and include advertisements and affiliated links.

I want to offer value. Does this sound like a good idea?

Thanks for your opinions!

Thats the most popular way of building a list, offer a freebie and eBooks are a good way.
Make sure its exactly what they want.

Yes I agree give them a freebie, An ebook is not a bad idea or give them a way to build a free web site give a free web host account rjdmarketing.net or free autoresponder cloaklinks.com/track/LW or a full blown affiliate marketing course thats free and will even let you build 2 websites and host for free cloaklinks.com/track/WA

    It's a perfect start.

I wouldn't focus so much on littering your content with affiliate links as I would solving the pain point issues that your subscribers have.

If you gain their trust by solving their problems through your content and expertise, you should have little trouble converting those subscribers into customers.

I would not offer 'just enough'. I would under promise and over deliver.

Get them to say to themselves - 'Wow....this free content was incredible. I wonder what the paid stuff looks like?"

You'll stick around longer than 99% of marketers with this approach. It's okay to give teaser information every so often, but if you are just getting started then use the under/over approach in all of your content.

    My too sents :/

For the new subscribers in the first 3-4 e-mail offer only valuable content. Educational, free content. Firstly you have to build trust. From the 4-5 e-mail send promotional e-mail. I won't by pushy sales. I would recommend to approach.

Give them a decent ebook with lots of information. Then make them an offer of another relevant product that is complementary to the ebook but not essential to it.

One link should be sufficient to get them into the buying part of your funnel. Just lead them to the top of the funnel so they fall in, don't push them in.

I would agree if you give them help with what they are looking for they would be more likely to come back and take you up on an offer in the future.

You're doing it exactly right, - and there are some great tips here from the other warriors.

For my 2c, I'd just put together a 10 to 15 page ebook offering huge value about something causing folks constant and severe pain - figuratively speaking - in your niche.

Then for your paid product I'd produce a 30 to 40 page report solving ONE specific problem.

When peeps sign up for your freebie, immediately show them an OTO for your paid product. Those that don't purchase get put on your freebie list and your AR follow up sequence promotes your paid product daily for 30 days, - very discreetly and mixed up with helpful valuable content.

After that, if they haven't bought, you can do other stuff with their addresses, but that's for another post entirely.

That's my 2 bobs worth and it works (very well) for me.

        Hope this helps

E-book is just one way to budle valuable information.

Offering anything free that attracts your reader is necessary, so you are doing great, it will attract them if they are according to their need and interest.
