Blog Creation Question

I was needing to know if it's in my best interest to create my blog promoting my primary and secondary business opportunity in the same blog. Or should I just do two blogs? My primary opportunities complements the the secondary but my secondary does not complement my primary opportunity.

Its hard to help without knowing exactly what you are promoting. From my experience, growing multiple blogs at once can be very difficult. If your offers are related, then promote them on the same blog. If they have nothing to do with each other, then focus on promoting just one blog with just one of your products.

You are better off focusing on growing one blog in my opinion.

I agree with Korwill.. better to separate two different business opportunity that will target different audiences.

Also, search engines like Google is ranking blog based on brand and authority, A single topic blog has better chances of creating an authority on a topic in compare to a blog writing about multiple-topics.

Separate and prosper, but one note; 2 blogs requires twice the effort because where your attention and energy goes, grows.

When I focused my creative energies on 1 blog instead of 4 I saw thousands more page visits daily, made more money, slept soundly, and embodied the internet lifestyle, instead of running around like a mad man.

IF, however, each business works works more closely than you think it can be pulled off. As noted above please share your topics and we can work with ya

    All the best.

Pick the primary business and run a blog on it. Promote it to the best of your ability and get as many subscribers/customers as possible. You can add a link to your other secondary product and promote that on the first blog.

I would personally build up one blog as this takes time to do.
You are going to want to brand yourself not your business opportunities b/c if down the line you decide not to promote them you can easily do so.

If you have two business opportunities you are also going to have to consider setting up a funded proposal as not everyone will buy into your opportunity from the first time they see it.

If you have two blogs going you are going to have to:
blog consistently on both; (a lot of effort)
ensure you get social interaction on both; (imperative for ranking)
create good source backlinks on both; (can get costly)

you could always promote both opportunities but have one as your main and the posts for the second opportunity have the posts hidden (or only visible in Googles eyes and those that search and find them)

    make sense?

There's already enough to do in this business without creating and maintaining separate blogs for everything.

Do one blog, and make it clear in a post or widget ad that your two businesses are represented by the one blog.

Or in the header, have a graphic created that reads ...

      ABC + XYZ Blog

Just my 2c - hope it helps

Initially it can be better idea not to spread thin and just focus on growing one blog and you can branch later to another when first grown a bit.

    I think it all depends

If your primary business opportunity is Vegan Recipes

and your secondary business is How to Slaughter a Cow

    Then, Probably not

If, on the other hand they are related such as Primary is Diet and Secondary is Body Building then you could probably find a way to pair them on the site
