My Very First Launch! Just Wanted to Tell Someone!

Hey Everyone,

It's been a huge learning curb that family and friends don't understand, but I just wanted to share it with people who I know DO understand how much work it really is.

I'm launching my first product, (And I went big for the first one too:-)

It's all to do with 'Presentation Skills and Public Speaking'

                Thanks Neels, Welcome...I've got a few IM who joined especially the podcasters since the same principles apply for preparing a podcast as preparing a on-stage presentation.

                Let me know if you have any specific presentation questions and I will add them to the pre-launch blog,

                  Podcasting presentation! Didn't think of that application (even though I've started using a few podcast-versions of my articles, always asking someone else to do the reading...) - this will open a massive market for your product! Incredible potential, I should think!

              Just a little detail if I may...

              Remember, people have very limited attention span (especially on the net)...
              so you want to give them the "what's in it for them" as soon as possible!

              Try and put the personal stuff AFTER they opt-in... you will get more
              sign-ups!

        I'd have to agree that attention span is quite short and that the maybe there is room to edit the video so there are more of the "benefits" of the product rather then the more personal stuff.

        Again I must compliment you on a job well done, may I ask how long you've been working on this page? And what kind of CVR you are experiencing with it so far?

    Anyway i just thought this one -> test between playing the video automatically upon the visitor enters the site and not, and see which one gets you more optin.

    Other than that i dont have any suggestions. Very well put launch page.

    looks professional enough, but i think that maybe you need to add a little more of a text summary about your courses as headline grabbers. The video presentation is very very helpful but people have to actually click on it to hear it. Some more bold headlines, summarising some of the content may help people in their buying decision.

      Thanks everyone for all your encouraging thoughts. I really appreciate it. It's alot of work doing it by yourself. maybe next launch I will attract some JV's for my second one. That will be my next goal!
