Notice to all vendors!

All vendors,

There is nothing more disappointing then when a vendor promises delivery of a product or response within their own stated timeframe and then fails to deliver. I have bought many products from vendors in this forum and for the most part I have been very happy. Kudos to those vendors! However, there have been a few instances where even the most seasoned vendor not only fails to deliver the product but fails to respond to numerous PM's and emails.

I really don't have a problem with a delayed delivery of product but when vendors can't seem to respond to emails or communicate the reason for the delay I have a serious issue. To those vendors, I say don't count on my business in the future, even at a steep discount. My time is just as valuable as yours and at this point you have wasted enough of my time. If you can't at least respond in a reasonable amount of time then you don't deserve my business or any referrals from me.

This is actually relevant for real life also, there are responsible individuals as well as not responsible ones, and you never know...

I'm curious, what do you consider a "reasonable amount of time"?

Secondly, if a vendor "fails" to deliver a product to you or give you what was promised in their WSO, make sure you use the "report post" icon that's underneath everyone's name. Only list the facts of happened, including dates, amounts, what was promised, etc. so that the WSO Moderator(s) can investigate.

I would say that a "reasonable amount of time" would be 48 hours after the vendor promised a "12 hour" response time has expired. In reality, if the vendor promises a 12 hour response time than 12 hours should be "reasonable" timeframe. I was being generous.

Are we talking about a Service? (not a product - as I would assume most products would be delivered instantly upon checkout)

It shouldn't matter whether it is a service or product, if the vendor promises 12 hours delivery than that is when the buyer should expect that product or service to be delivered. Certainly, 48 hours after that time, a response at minimum, wouldn't be considered unreasonable to expect.

Agreeing with your post, however, I doubt that "seasoned" vendors intentionally "not" deliver a product, or purposely not respond to a customer. Whatever the reasons are that a customer does not get a response (from a seasoned vendor) is up in the air.

I can attest to it that there have been several occasions where as a vendor we reply literary within minutes to a customer via email, only to receive an angry email back a few days later stating that we never responded. (?) Another email is then sent to the customer, and again we get another "why are you not responding" email.
    This happens...

Regarding PM's on this forum, I myself have waited for a reply from a few warrior vendors in which I sent an intent to purchase message. Meaning, my PM is along the lines of, "Hi, I am going to give you money and buy your WSO, I just have a question...".

If I don't get a reply from a PM within a few days or a week or so, I then assume that these vendors get so much spam that they don't even bother to check PM's anymore. In that case I will go to their official support system and contact them there, as I can't assume that everyone lives and sleeps on this forum as some of us do.

This is true. Some Warriors are so used with spam messages that even if you send them a message with the intention to help them because you saw in their thread that they had a certain problem, they won't answer, or they will be rude.
