You're headed in the right direction... getting a coach can help you to plan out what you need to do, get headed in the right direction and be held accountable.

I don't know of anyone that provides coaching for that specific biz model... but it seems like you know what you want to do and just need the right "coach".

Have you searched online? How about the WSO section? Check those first... maybe even ask some of the course providers with those strategies if they provide coaching.

Which course would you recommend for a new person?

The Affilo Blueprint or the Affilo Jetpack course?
I have looked at both of them.

I have been holding off with my decsion because I heard a brand new version of Jetpack will be released in the next few months. I think the new version is getting ready to be tested.

I have also been looking at Rob Cornish's Gain Higher Ground program and I
        like that program to.

My head is spinning with information overload. I will make my decsion between these courses.

        Any comments from the Fourm.
        Thanks

Why not try on your own first, those posts give some good information if you want to go that route.

If you really want a coach that are doing the things in the posts, then contact the posters and ask them

Quite a few of us here can help without you having to hire a coach, in fact, it is best that you do not right away.

Just post some questions here and see who can help.

Make sure you post in the correct sub-forum. If you have a question about facebook then make your post in the social media sub forum etc.

            SBM1,

I'm cynical about coaches. They often charge top dollar and I've had a couple that didn't do much for me. Obviously you might be different but I'd say I'm pretty average.

Instead of paying 1000s to a coach, I've found the following basic system (which was suggested to me in my hour of desperation) has worked better than anything else. I kick myself for not having started on it earlier.

            This is the secret ...

You can see it's nothing flash. It doesn't need to be.

            1) Create a 10 or 12 page report that offering something
of value in your niche. Must be of high interest.
            (This is your freebie)

            2) Create a 20 - 30 page book that solves "one" specific problem
in your market/niche (This will be your paid product)

            3) Set up Squeeze Page to generate leads (put freebie on sq page)

            4) Set up a Sales Page selling the Paid Product for $7 to build a
buyers list (Because remember, a lead is not a customer -
            and until they become
one, they're not helping you to be successful)

            5) Drive traffic to the Squeeze Page. Redirect opt-ins to
            the Sales Page

            6) As subscribers Buy your paid product, segment
            them onto 2 lists i.e. 1) leads 2) customers

            7) Set up and send an Auto Responder follow up sequence of
emails to your 'leads' with links to your 'paid' product, and
segment anyone who buys onto your 'customer' list

            8) Have a customer list set up where you ask them what their
pressing problems are (based on answers, you promote similar
affiliate products and create your own related product)

            9) After your next Paid Product is released, you continually sell
that to your 'customer' list and segment those buyers onto
            another list

            10) In this way, you just keep refining your sales funnel.
Creating and promoting products, and segmenting your
customers along the way from a low priced product, up
            to a high priced product

            And that's it...

If you've done this right and your products offer real and
useful value to your buyers, you'll have no problem being
            a successful internet marketer.

I think the reason people don't follow this simple formula must
be because they want to see obstacles that might occur further
into this strategy, rather than trying to understand that you
evolve and get better with the process as time progresses.

I'd bet a pound to a penny you're already smarter than many
of the most successful marketers out there.

But you'll really struggle to reach their levels of achievement
if you don't grasp this simple concept...

As long as you know you have the potential, and you
keep pushing this simple strategy every single day...
            it's inevitable you'll find success.

            OK, that's it - I'm gone.

            Hope it helped

Coaching rocks, but wading through this forum, making friends with pros by engaging, and sticking to basics like creating value through blogging and email newsletters, will bring you success.

Start taking notes from these posts, then put the notes into action Of course, go the coaching route if this strategy is doing nothing for you.

    All the best!

ok, so I looked at the first link you posted and have some comments that will probably identify where you're having trouble.

first and foremost, that post is nothing more than a quick tutorial on how to make crappy 20 page sites focused on keywords....it DOES NOT explain in any detail whatsoever how exactly you're supposed to rank those keywords, all I saw was the word "backlinking" a couple of times....he even said, "if you need to". Yeah, even KWs that are only pulling 800 exacts a month need backlinking. He also gave absolutely no criteria for first page evaluation, which is critical if you're planning on ranking sites with little backlinking.

He also advocated using a free wordpress site... this alone should raise some huge red flags. Make 150+ websites on a platform that I don't own? Seriously?

Then he gives a couple sentences that apparently were supposed to explain your entire monetization strategy, which is completely dependent on your niche in the first place so saying "CB" or "amazon" is just crap.

OP you dont need a coach. You just need to lean more about building traffic and monetizing that traffic....stop listening to gurus and just start working, you'll eventually find what works for the niche youre targeting and what doesnt. You'll get better at evaluating front page competition, picking keywords, linking opportunities. I mean seriously OP, there is a learning curve to IM. No one makes money when they first start.... but if you're smart and your not lazy you will learn a lot. If you take those lessons and apply them instead of just trying to copy some other persons crappy method then you'll start making money and learn WHY you're making money...which means you can replicate it again and again.

I'll make this easy for you...

Find a niche that you can write or get GOOD content written for.

Next, you must find SEVERAL places to to get good quality do-follow links from in that niche. (They must be from relevant, high authority sites). YES FIND LINKING OPPORTUNITIES BEFORE KEYWORDS. IF YOU DONT HAVE LINKS YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET ENOUGH TRAFFIC TO MAKE THIS WORTH THE EFFORT.

Next, learn everything you can about front page serp competition evaluation so you actually have an idea what keywords you can and cant rank for with your available linking sources. Do not skip this step and do not spend an hour on Google or WF and think you're good... spend several days reading and practicing front page evaluation. Take some keyword examples, take a shot at evaluating the competition, then make a post in the adsense SEO area, give the keyword you practiced with, how competitive you think the 1st page and why, then see what the vets of this site say about your ability to determine front page competition. once you're at the point where vets are saying "yep, you're right" more often than not, then you're ready to start REALLY evaluating your keywords.

Find keywords in your niche that have decent traffic and low first page competition.

Develop content and the site itself.

buy hosting and a relevant domain, if you want to get fancy you can buy an expired domain that already has links built to it....however you do have to vet these domains to make sure they werent deindexed or have spam links pointing to them....in fact, skip this tip OP and just get a new domain name.

upload your site and half your content. Ping content (this should be done for you in WP)

build links to this content using several variations of anchor text on the linking sites you identified before doing keyword research

add adsense, CB, affil. products...whatever you decide to monetize the site with... adsense would be better for you since you're coming into these niches cold and have no idea what sells and what doesnt. Adsense should hopefully match up the best offers to your content.

within a few weeks or months (it depends) you should start seeing traffic and clicks

continue feeding content to these sites as they will lose rankings eventually.

    rinse and repeat.

There.... I just told you what most coaches would charge you an arm and a leg for.

now get out there and get to work.

  • Hi sbmonsey1?,

You are right you do need a coach. Don't listen to others who say keep on stumbling along because that is the way to waste a lot of money and time which a good mentor would save you from doing?

My first question is why did you build so many websites instead of starting with just one and working on it until it was getting you a list of people to market related (to your niche) products to? Build a list if you haven't already done so. Once you got that right then create some more. You should drive targeted traffic to your site to do this.

Next create or find more follow up products of increasing price and value to recommend to them ONLY after you have built a strong relationship with them.

People rarely buy from a website and can take 7 or more follow up emails before they might? Help them first so they might eventually buy something that you personally recommend to them BECAUSE you purchased and used it yourself. Most people sell stuff they never purchased or use yet they expect others to? Crazy or what?

Use high quality squeeze pages to give away a valuable free gift to get sign ups such as Lead Pages, around $37 a month or whatever you prefer?

A good mentor's membership may even provide such things so do get a mentor and save time and money in the long run.

    Regards,

    Stephen & Jennifer.

A coach can greatly help you. Although I disagree every one needs a coach, sometimes a mentor that can help is all that is needed.

I have did free classes and paid classes and believe it or not only about 2 percent of my students end up earning any substantial type of money. Im not knocking the way I coach its just the 2 percent rule of Internet Marketing is true, 98 percent never accomplish anything 2 percent make money and only a fraction of them a full time income.

What is truly needed is mindset. Anyone can be motivated to make money but if you do not have right set of mind then it is not going to happen.

My opinion is you do not need a coach at this point.

Don't get me wrong - I do not think coaching is a bad idea I actually offer it HOWEVER this is what i tell my clients if I give them a method that SHOWS them how to make money online:

"You don't need a coach - you just need to follow the steps - HOWEVER a coach can help you ONCE you have taken some action..."

So if you HAVE been working hard, for instance:

"I have followed these steps and set up 10 websites etc... and here is my results - what am i doing wrong? can you take me to the next level? etc..."

Then, i think the RIGHT coach can help you.

Save your money, invest it in your business and follow through all of the strategies you have posted and THEN look at the results you are getting and decide.

      Just my 2 pence,

      Good Luck!

I would give you only one suggestion. Invest only ~ $37 to get access into the War Room and you will found there whatever you need. For this kind of money you will not get the coach anywhere.

Maybe your coach will charge you small fee, but you will need to invest more and more...

Go the the amazon, type your keyword there - your problem, what are you looking and buy best book on this topic. This will be also the best investment in your future!

    All the best!

If you want to go ahead and manage all of that! To be honest you only need one website to make really, really good money online. I'm talking more than any 8 hour day can give you at $21 per hour.

Making money online is all about supply and demand and knowing your numbers. Personally I would stay away from any automation for now until you know what it takes and understand.

    You'll get there!

      Hi,

A lot of what has been said is very valid:

      - Kenster yes top guy

      - You need not necessarily need a coach it depends on how well you can drive yourself and this depends on you understanding yourself and knowing if you can push yourself or if you need to be pushed. This is of vital importance as most people simply crumble when they see failure in the mirror after a couple of months of trying and then give up.

      - As someone else said create ONE website not a whole load of them and concentrate just on that one.

If you don't take a coach maybe then spend some money on good courses to help you move forward.

Perform some sort of self evaluation, set targets and try to hit them. If you don' t find out why.

      Good luck in any case.

Before spending money on a coach, you should at least have a basic knowledge of IM. The best way to learn is to just do it...

First, Learn about Wordpress. You don't have to be a WP guru, just learn how to install a site (your hosting will probably have an installer like Fantastico), learn how to make a post and a page and learn the difference. You can learn what you need to get started in a day.

Next decide on a topic (niche) - it's probably a good idea to start with something you already know about - a hobby etc... Start building your site. Don't worry about making $$$ right now, this is just training.

Spend a few months working on this site. Try to make a post at least every few days. Develop a free report that solves a problem that your niche has and offer to give it away to your visitors in exchange for their email address.

Over time you may want to offer some products as an affiliate. One of the best ways to do this on a niche site is to offer product reviews. Since you started in a niche you already knew about, you probably have some products that you already use. Write about them. Write about the pros and the cons of the product.

Offer your honest opinions on who the product would be most useful for. Who probably doesn't need the product etc. Be genuine. You're not trying to sell the product here, you're just introducing it.

As you run into problems or have questions -search these forum, if you can't find your answer then ask.

Lastly, don't go chasing every get rich quick headline you see. Focus first on learning (and doing) the basics.

    Hope This Helps!

exactly what you saw in those 3 threads. Reason: that used to work 3 years ago.

Times have changed and who wants to have "235+ websites"?

It is possible to build a stable online income but building a zillion sites is not something that a (successful) coach can show you.
