HI all WF members
it is necessary to open thread to clear my vision about article marketing
here I read lots of GURUS on article marketing and success stories like this "I made 350$ via ezine, articlebase etc"
the main idea I got is that submit articles about particular niche on EZA and author box goes to web page( landing page, email campaign BLah BLah)
but I met profound article marketer and ask " how is promoting clickbank via EZA"
replied " It wouldn't work for me, and I think it won't work for you either.

That isn't "article marketing" at all. It's "article directory marketing". It's nonsense."

m very confuse whats going on
HELP:confused:

Article marketing has changed drastically over the past few years. Use the Search function here and you will find hundreds of posts about article marketing.

It will probably not work as you suggest in your post, but, as a part of your overall traffic strategy it could, if the articles are good, provide some traffic to your site

I agree with you. There are much better ways to make money on Clickbank than article marketing. Doesn't work for me neither.

Article marketing has been changed drastically over the past few years by those who don't know what the hell they're doing.

      Fixed that for you.

The fact is, "article marketing" is a very powerful marketing model, and the concept has been used for centuries to generate leads and sales. From newspaper articles and other print media to online outlets, content is the ultimate direct traffic generation and marketing tool, bar none. But stringing and spinning words together does not make an article, and cramming them into article directories is not marketing.

What I recommend is to go back to the basics of writing real articles, for real people, and submit them to real publications. And learn how to market, such as using an engaging funnel system to process traffic generated from your articles. The "article marketing" model is not just about writing articles, but includes active marketing practices.

    Dear fahax,

ezinearticles, articlebase etc. cannot help you directly to promote ClickBank products. Once upon a time ezinearticles was a great platform to do so, but it isn't any more now.

These article sites are nowadays used to add backlinks to the Preselling Pages where from sellers redirect the page-visitors to the sales page of the product or service.

So I think you shouldn't go for the old-school method of publishing articles to directly promote ClickBank products. Lots of other killer techniques and strategies are there, choose one and start shoting.

    All the best!

Article marketing absolutely works. I have a friend who does mostly article marketing with Clickbank and he's pulling in around $600-$700 / week. Which is basically $100 / day.

However, his technique isn't as simple as just writing articles. He does a lot of keyword research, then he blasts the articles to get them ranked. And his strategy is almost as complicated as my YT strategy.

I love writing, but chose youtube because I believe a video is 100xs more compelling than an article. And I can write really good articles if I want. But I can't manipulate my tone of voice, or do a lot of other things that help increase conversions.

Either way, Clickbank is not for everyone. IM in general isn't for most people. And it doesn't matter how many WSOs you buy or how much you read. You need to be an extremely patient, persistent, intelligent and somewhat stubborn person to make it work. When I say "make it work" I mean "make it big". And when I say "stubborn", I mean you have to not give 2 shits about failure. You have to expect it. You almost have to enjoy it. Because the more you fail, the more you will succeed. And the longer you do this for, the less you fail, and more you succeed. But that initial failure curve is what ruins it for most people. They lack confidence, they lack foresight, and want to give up after 1 month of trying. I didn't have 1 sale for 3 months but kept at it. And that is the ONLY reason I succeeded. If you ask me, its the only reason anyone succeeds. Because you refuse, under any circumstances, to give up until you reach your goals.

I really don't like article marketing. With all the time and effort, pumping out those Youtube videos will definitely be a better choice.

I prefer using social media to drive traffic to my landing pages. FB, YT, Squidoo are great avenues to drive traffic from.
