Kindle Books & List Building

I figured i would ask this here to get some suggestions...

So I have quite a few larger books now. I wanted to know if the users would be angry if I broke up my books into articles, built in free offers (ebook/video series) per niche, then built the list and sold these good articles for 99cents.

Would they be upset that there are articles as long as I cater towards their niche-specific problems/wants?

My goal here is not the money per se, it's more list building and providing quality niche-specific value to the readers through the list then offer affiliate products.

    Whether an article is worth 99 cents depends on the article and the reader.

    Most likely people would not be too happy with an article for a dollar.

    And if you make too many people unhappy Amazon will make you unhappy by banning your account.

    So, make sure you deliver value for your readers.
    That does not mean you can not build a list but
    if the reader feels that something was missing in that article
    you will not get very far.
