Can you share tips on video optimization? How effective it is?

    Depends on what you are doing.

    If you have a short, low motion video then encode it as a FLV at 15 frames or less per second and that will reduce it's file size quite dramatically. Also the KB/s should be around 250 for high quality (for people on Cable or DSL) or less if you want to squeeze every ounce of size out of it.

    If you have a lot of movement or the video is longer then go for .mp4 format. It gives a great compression ratio for the length of video.

    Also it helps to use the de-interlace feature depending on your source to increase picture quality.
