New and ready to learn

Hi There,

The name is Christopher and I am 29. Me and my girlfriend are looking to venture into IM and I was hoping this forum could be a step in the direction towards working from home.

The internet is, well to put bluntly, disgustingly huge and full of mostly trash. Where are the best places to research to get started in the business? Also what tools are best to use in the early stages for keyword research? I am looking for either affiliates work or running an online niche store, it doesn't matter I can swing both I am sure.

Now before you start posting your affiliates posts I am not looking for scams and trash, just an honest opinion and a finger to point me in the direction to start. I do not want to take courses and buy someones product to make a million in a week. I want to work and I expect my month of research to be extended to a lot longer before my store or website launches.

Looking for veteran guidance, without the trash. I don't need a pat on the back I need advice, solid advice.

Is Market Samurai worth the money? Should I join Moz or one of those communities? Is the War room for newbies or should I wait until I know more? I am asking these things because I do not know. Help and thank you in advance.

Regards,

Christopher Burns

    Hey Christopher!

Awesome decision of you guys to plunge into IM!

I'd recommend building a list and promoting something you truly believe in!
Maybe CPA, Clickbank, JvZoo? They're all free to promote!

I'd love to help you out. All for free of course! Just PM me!

    - Jeremy

    Again, welcome!

P.S. Never think about giving up just once even if times get tough!

    Hey Christopher,

You're in the right place. There's tons of real gold here, so dig in and start reading.

I would recommend developing niche websites and monetizing them with affiliate products. As part of this you should also build a list for each niche you're in.

A general online store is hard because it's difficult to get search engine traffic. A niche site is easier (still not fool-proof though).

Anyway, I'd be happy to help - PM if you need more assistance

    1) War Room - yes join

    2) Moz - very good, didnt know you had to join

    3) Market Samurai.... i've only heard good things about it. Ask more members about it

    4) Consider OptimizePress for squeeze page and sales letter creation
