One niche website vs Multi-niche website

Hi guys,

First post ever since I have been learning so much for the past few months and I guess I need experience now (keep in mind that I am still a newbie).

Anyway, I need advice on what you think is better - keep in mind that I will focus on the website I am building as much as I possibly can for as long as I can.

1. Make a website promoting one particular ClickBank product
VS.
2. Make a website promoting many Clickbank products in one particular sub-category - an example would be the subcategory Stress Management ( I am not doing this one btw)

I am going to focus all my attention on the website (in terms of content, seo etc.) and make sure I pick a niche/s that I am interested in. I will be promoting the niche/s for at least 6 months so I think I am kinda in it for the long term.

Thanks in advance.

I would recommend going for a niche site as opposed to promoting one single product.

You can make money promoting a single product but it tends to be short lived because people aren't likely to be searching for "product X review" for more then a few months.

Many marketers watch for new products to be launched and will purchase domain names like:

    PRODUCT-NAME-Review.com

Then create a product review and let the search engines to the rest. This may make a few bucks for a couple of months or so, but usually doesn't last much beyond that.

With a full niche site you can have a much longer shelf life. If you're in say some weight loss sub category, you can create a site that promotes a bunch of different products (product reviews can work great here), but since you're not locked in to one product, you can constantly be adding new reviews to the site.

Either way, make sure you're collecting email addresses as your list is what will get you through even if you're not ranking in the search engines any longer.

I would say that making one website with a lot of products would be more profitable, but it is a lot harder to outrank the competition.

But with hard and smart work (+ a small investment) it is possible?

Of course, everything is possible start small, and step by step work your way through
