How to bridge the gap between Online and Offline Marketing?

Hi,

Traditional offline marketing has a new face and that is Online Marketing. But some entrepreneurs find it hard to connect the dots between offline and online marketing.

Can you suggest some ways how to bridge the Gap between Online and offline Marketing?

Aaron, I really don't get what you mean. Internet Marketing is marketing on the web. I know some people use the word loosely and some use it to extremes.

Really though it can be the mom and pop gas station down the street or the wanna be entrepreneur trying to rake in millions. Try using different keywords to your customers. Marketing on the web ect.

      Hi Hustlinsmoke,

I am talking about how to link the gap between Offline and Online Marketing. Basically, old companies/entrepreneurs find it hard to integrate offline campaigns to their online campaigns. Let us say you have a local promo or event, linking those offline and online marketing campaign could have double the impact for the company.

Well I still don't understand, maybe it is because it comes easy to me. If you have an offline company, it would only make sense to have online marketing to help it out.

Maybe its because its beer night for me. I would frown on someone that doesn't have an online presence though, even a google plus page is a plus.

Have the offline marketing direct the prospects to a website or a squeeze page with a special offer to the local promo or event.

That's what I am talking about Pal! Linking them in a way to promote offline campaign to internet and promote online campaign through the traditional ones.

Yes I think you are over thinking Pal. It may be look like an easy task but offline promotion and campaign distribution is different in online. You should have separate treatment on each of the campaign. You cannot give flyers online, same as you cannot generate an instant interaction offline.

I think Social Media will play a vital role in linking the two marketing platforms. Thinking that almost all people have their FB, IG and G+ account.

Teach them, attend local chamber of commerce meetings and teach people. Have them start with PPC... Adwords, Google Places (same on Yahoo), a professional website, and email marketing at the very least.

Offline and online marketing, how to bridge the gap? Use social media. I don't think social media wouldn't be that hard to use and optimize for marketing strategies.

Yes I think Social Media is one of the most effective way to convey the message from Offline to Online campaign.

Blogs and infographics announcing your event or campaign can also do the trick.
