Is Flippa still the best place to sell your website?

Hi guys.

I'm not a website flipper, so have only browsed flippa on and off.

Is this still the best place to sell a website, or are there better options out there?

I would say that Flippa is the overall best platform for buying and selling websites. If there is somewhere better, I'm yet to find it. Cheers.

Depends on the price range. If you're looking to buy/sell in the <$20k range there are quite a few smaller marketplaces, but Flippa definitely owns the market there. You could also check out Empire Flippers - they tend to have inventory in that range, too.

Above $20k, Flippa is still an option, but as you go further up the scale (particularly over $50k) brokers tend to own most of the market and do the vast majority of deals (aside from private transactions). You won't hear as much from brokers as most have to keep their deals extremely private but the further you go up the scale, the more beneficial a broker becomes vs. selling yourself.

Yes, I think it is the best for now, but also pricey (10% fee). There are Sedo and others, but for selling website (not only domain) Flippa is no. 1.

Hey, Just about what Thomas said, but there is one higher price range premium website flipping service which is : Website Broker : Internet Businesses for Sale by FE International (revenues from $1k +). This is well worth knowing about !

ELSE, go onto flippa this is the biggest market resource and highest quantity. Also the listing is very professional as you may already know.

That's actually my company you linked to, thanks for the mention, though!

The market is a lot more fragmented over $50k. Very few deals of that size happen on Flippa and the deals for higher multiples are almost always done privately or through a broker.
