Higher commissions for actual customers?

I have a quick question. I am using JVZoo as my affiliate platform which uses PayPal as the payment processor. PayPal usually doesn't like anything that looks like an MLM or advertises the affiliate program on the same page as the product sales page. They especially don't like products that you must buy to be able to participate in the affiliate program.

However, if my product allows ANYBODY to participate in the affiliate program (for free) can I advertise high commission rates for the people who also bought my product? For example, can I give free affiliates 50% commission and my customers 75% or 100%? Do you think PayPal would have a problem with this?

Some sites only offer their affiliate program to actual customers, so that any review or testimonial given by the affiliate is genuine since they have actual experience with the product. Just saying, this idea is a good idea for many reasons. But, as to whether or not Paypal would like it, I really can't say.

First, PayPal is a seriously jacked up organization and it trips me out they are still in business. I know there are people that say, "oh, if you're legit and doing business on the up and up you won't have problems with PayPal at all."

Hogwash: Serious @PayPal Problems + Open Letter to @DavidMarcus Danny Iny is about as "stand up" as they come.

If you really read the PayPal TOS they can restrict your account for 6 months really for ANY reason they want. The class-action lawsuit that PayPal lost requires that they have an appeals process ... but there is NO requirement that they "entertain" any specific appeal.

Get a real payment processor (e.g. stripe.com which is who I use); or use clickbank or 2checkout.

PayPal needs to just go out of business. As long as people keep using them they'll keep doing the same B.S. over and over.

Rant Over ... if you're worried about it call them up and ask them what they think of what you want to do. Of course Danny Iny called paypal too and it did him little good.
