How do you get the .99 1st year domain at GoDaddy?

I go there and it says .99 new 1st year or transfer and any domain you pull up its all $10+. I even found a coupon code for it and tried to apply it at checkout and it didn't work.

Anyone know how to get this or any other ones for 1.99 or something. Thanks.

    Try again using this link: Godaddy

    There are some restrictions - only good for one domain, can't use Paypal to purchase, and some others - you must read the fine print.

      No, that shouldn't matter. Godaddy almost always presents that option to you first as a way to extract more money from you. You don't have to purchase two years of registration.

    If you have an account with them, it will not work.
    But I gust registered 7 names for under $25.00 and opened a different account doing it using retailmenot.com and other coupons.

    Well for 2+ years it shows 1st year .99 and for only 1 year it shows 9.99.

    I have never hosted with them or bought a domain there but maybe I signed up for account a long time ago can't remember but in any case I am not logged in anyway.

    I will try that coupon site thanks.

    I only want 1 year and privacy its for practice mostly for a class I am taking but will build a real website on it.
