Default Anyone ever received help from PayDotCom support?

Hi,

I've been trying to use PayDotCom for my affiliate program. I was having some trouble with affiliate signups, which has largely been resolved, but in the meantime I discovered that it's impossible to get help.

There is a help forum, but I could not post my question because the "submit" button had been disabled. I checked on several different days and called their attention to it.

I found an e-mail address on the forum to use if you don't get an answer from the forum. I e-mailed there and the reply I got said "f*** off. With respect, [a different person's name]." I am not making this up.

I private-messaged the guy who posted the e-mail address on the forum for getting help. I have not received an answer yet.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get help from PayDotCom? Is it possible to go to Mike Filsaime himself?

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

No. I have not been able to get help or adequate answers to proceed. I am going back to my private managed affiliate system (affiliateshop). I will use the paydotcom for the marketplace - but in a much more limited manner than I had originally planned.

Were you ever able to find a manual? There's nothing in the support desk area and nothing in the KB.

I have respect for Mike F's products and will continue to evaluate his others but with more skepticism now that I've had such a negative exeperience w/pdc. It's unfortunate, I just think PDC is a great concept that has become the 'ugly step-child' suffering from serious neglect.

My experience w/his other products have been positive and this is not a 'crucify' the marketer thread but I'm glad to share my experience in hopes of helping others not waste as much time as I have.

Take care,
Anisa

Thanks Anisa! It's good to know I'm not alone, or doing something wrong!

Manual? Nope. I didn't even know there was *supposed to* be one. PayDotCom was recommended by Bill McRea. Seemed like a good idea, but sheesh, it seems absolutely no one is home.

No, you aren't alone. I got no help from their support so I gave up on them. I posted my product on their marketplace but needed help with a technical issue. I tried all the same things as you to reach someone but nobody responded.

I have little patience for companies that aren't professional, so....

I've since gone over to e-junkie. MUCH better service and you'll usually get the help you need quickly.

I have nothing but good things to say about the PDC support desk. I contacted their support desk awhile back about one of their vendors who was in violation of my copyright. They responded promptly and banned the product from their marketplace.

Hi

This is Nancy Fahey, Mike Filsaime's Support Manager. We are truly sorry that you had such a bad experience with Paydotcom support. We DO have a Help Desk and good, efficient and polite staff. If there is any technical issue that is beyond the scope of our staff, we go right to our programming staff to help assist our customers.

To reach our desk, please go to:
thecustomerhelpdesk.com/desk

When you get there, register, then you can login. For Paydotcom support, simply choose the Paydotcom button.

Lisa, I would love it if you could please PM me with the name of this person who told you to "f*** off". We simply do not tolerate any of our staff talking to our customers that way. Unless we know who said this to you, we have no way to correct him or deal with it.

Warm Regards,

Nancy Fahey

Hello Nancy and welcome,

Thank you for your reply and concern.

Please know that for me, the staff has been polite and professional. However, the lack of documentation for vendors, the inaccurate FAQ section that leaves huge wholes in the data - gives instructions to processes and steps that have been edited to be 'different' than the outline of the steps suggest and single-sentence replies to questions has made it too much trouble.

As the support manager, please suggest tutorials and a manual for vendors. This would solve most of our challenges and create less stress and work for your team.

Thanks again and take care,
Anisa

Ron, that is truly surprising. In my case, several people were involved; one used profanity at me, one gave me a half-baked (but reasonably polite) answer that didn't address my question, and one or two others simply ignored me.

Nancy, thanks for coming to our rescue. I'll PM you with the person's name. Interestingly, the name matched the e-mail address, but was different from the name of the person who said to use that e-mail address.

And to clarify, this person actually spelled out the "f" word. Lest anyone think I may have said something to them that was less than perfectly polite, feel free to look at all my posts here on the WF and see if I've ever been less than perfectly polite.

PMing you next thing...and thanks again.

Lisa

Just to let everyone know, Nancy is working with me to solve these issues. There are some mysteries involved, having to do with people no longer employed there. I think my faith in PDC will be restored, so for anyone else having problems, Nancy seems to be the person to go to.

Much easier to work with than clickbank in my opinion although I agree that sometimes "finding" the right person can be difficult. But, once there seems to be adequate.

Terry

P.S. sounds like the guy saying f*** off was on his way out the door anyway and you happened to be the last one in his way before his a** hit the door!

I've worked with Nancy before and she is very good at what she does. Unfortunately, there's a rotten apple in the bunch that don't give a s*** and hope he/she gets dropped. We go back in IB days.
