Testing the waters Live Chat Feedback

I have a good friend of mine who coded a program very similar to the live chat program you would see at places like

hostgator.c*m

I need feedback to see if there is enough of a market here at WarriorForum to see if you would be interested in something like that.

It has about the same functionality as theirs but the difference is in the price. Many of those companies charge $100-$300 for setup then a monthy fee of $30ish.

Our program would be less expensive then this and comes with full support from my programmer and I. There is no monthly fee on this only the purchase of the program itself.

I just want to know if there is enough of a market here of people who might want this.

I wasn't sure where to post this so if is in the wrong section please move it to the correct one.

    There might be a good market for this, especially if it is easy to install and it "just works" on most hosting setups. You might try low balling the price at first so you can attract a loyal following, and then increase it a little as you build up a client base.
