Difference between "Click" and "Visitor" in JVZoo!

Hello Warriors!
Today, when I wanted to check the dashboard of my JVZoo account. I noticed that I get 10 visitors 15 clicks and 2 Sales.
My question is, what is the actual meaning or difference of "Clicks" and "Visitors" at JVZoo platform?

Thanks!

    What if visitors > clicks?

Does a click trigger when visitor clicks the "Buy Now" button, or lands on the page?

Just from looking at "10 visitors 15 clicks" i would say that there were 10 people who came and clicked 15 times in total on your link.

A few of those 10 people clicked more than once on your link and so count for more clicks.

So you might have 1 person who clicks your link 10 times...which would equate to 1 visitor and 10 clicks.

Yeah as it seems (since you got sales) some person really doubted to make a person so he clicked the buy button several times.

today i logged in my jvzoo account. there i see 0 visitors/97 clicks/0 sales.
how it is possible? means, how clicks happen without any visitors?
is anything wrong in tracking stats?

      Bots.................

A click (at JVZoo) is a measure of raw clicks that is defined as how many times a button on your sales page is shown. So if someone landed on your page, reloaded your sales page three times, you will have three clicks.

On the other hand, a visit is categorized as someone viewing your page. Visitors are not duplicated since these are tracked via IP. So if a person from same IP visited your page 10 times a day, your stats will show 1 visitor and 10 clicks.

These are the official definitions as available at JVZoo. Not mine

Well, can you explain the bots?? I also get this problem, no visitor and many clicks.

0 visitors mean "no unique (or new) IP landing on your page".

Clicks mean "returning visitors" or "bots hitting your website from same ip".

Sooo....we can deduce that the more important number is "Visitors" as these are unique visits from individuals. Of course, a bot might register as a single visitor, but you can gauge traffic much better by looking at visitors than by measuring clicks as there are so many random reasons for clicks being registered.

Sorry, NDK, the members here speak in trade terms - acronyms - thinking everyone knows what they mean.

A "bot" is short for Search Engine Robot. 'Bots will hit your site for one of 2 reasons:
    • They are looking for something an individual asked for; or
    • They are roaming about the web gathering information for their database.

Therefore, when a search 'bot lands on your site it is counted as a view, but not as a visitor, not as a human who may take action, such as clicking a link on your site.
