Do I really need to edit or rewrite every article I've wrote before submitting it?. Will Google penalized me for duplicate content, if i wrote my article and I write it again in web 2.0 as a same content?.

Yes you should rewrite your articles to avoid the duplicate content penality. But some people say duplicate content is the dup in your page. Of course there are many sites that are displaying content from another site and still they are showing up in top of Google. But for safety it is good to exercise unique content especially on your money pages. A ton of work which I hate but am determined to do these days.

You certainly want to be as unique as possible. Google wants quality content but nothing is ever forever. What is the problem you're trying to solve with your articles? What do you want to achieve?

Traffic and subscribers. I've seen a lot of sites that has a duplicate content but still in Google. I thought as long you are the author, it will not be penalize.

I thought if you change up the first and last paragraphs a little, you should be alright. Not sure if this is a strategy you want to be doing too much though.

Depends on where you plan to submit, the order in which you submit things, and how you are linking.

That statement is a can of worms.

You won't get penalized! Thats just a myth....

If google sees your site and all it sees is duplicate content they could throw you in the sandbox.

When their spiders crawl the web and find your content on the original source but when they see the same article in all the other directories they are only going to count the original sources. That where understanding spin text comes in...

You want more power with the searches then either spin your article or re-write it for each directory in different words as well a vary your anchor text....

I don't know if you'll pay attention to this piece of advice or carry on regardless, but you say you're confused, so here goes:

The only way you're likely to have any real success with your content is to focus on writing (or providing content) for your readers' benefit and not for the search engines. That's it.

Worrying about Google penalties and duplicate content is only going to waste more of your time and add to your confusion.

Duplicate content is when you have the same article
several times on your (same) website. But as everyone is saying
Google is the last thing to worry about any way.
