Oh boy, this is a gold mine if you know how to redirect traffic properly. I won't give details because this is a solid income stream for me. I don't want competition sorry :p

In my opinion there are better choices out there to park your domains: Voodoo, ParkingCrew, and Bodis to name a few. These 3 in my experience pay much more than GoDaddy Cash Parking.

Godaddy was the one i started with so i haven't really considered using others.

I can tell you $100+ daily is pretty simple if you have a small army of niche sites getting organic traffic OR a nice big authority site that pushes a lot of traffic.

Godaddy clicks are $1 - 2 each so you don't need that many to bank hard on this.

If you've that, what for do you need parking?

          Well it's a numbers game.

          Let's say you make 2 sales a month from an affiliate product on a single micro niche site. Let's say that's $34 - $17 x 2

Since GD pays $1 - 2 per click and the traffic is right, you could get just 1 click per day from that traffic (sometimes easier to do than getting a sale) and on average you could get more than promoting a product.

          $1.5 (average of $1 and $2) x 30 days = $45

I'm not saying the numbers will work out precisely this way, simply that it COULD, which is why i presented it as a viable option.

If the cpc was lower than $1 than it might be a different story, likewise if the product commission was lower or higher.

They're all options depending on how the numbers work out.

In my mind, there are a lot more efficient ways to monetize traffic than by sending it to a parked domain.

I have no doubt you can make money that way if you know what you're doing. Most folks probably don't and stand little chance of making more than a few dollars a month with it.

To my way of thinking, if you're going to work hard to get traffic, wouldn't it make sense to capture the prospect into a list and market some high converting offers as opposed to being paid a very small commission by Godaddy.

Think about it - Godaddy uses the parked traffic to make offers of their own services and products and pays you a small percentage for sending them traffic. Wouldn't you rather be in Godaddy's shoes and making offers rather than getting paid peanuts for the eyeballs?

      Good luck to you,

      Steve
